Too much effort, just make napalm instead

Napalm won't melt through steel effectively and makes a huge mess. Different purposes

what about... jet fuel... tell me, could that melt... perhaps a steal, beam?

In fact it can! Especially if you combine it with a large kinetic input which bends the beam!

Minor correction: jet fuel can't melt steel beams, but it doesn't need to. A heated steel beam is much weaker than one at a normal temperature. This weakness is exactly the same property that blacksmiths use to more easily form metal.

You're right. It's not liquid but it's a much softer solid so not technically melted.

phew, i was a bit worried because it almost seemed that on september eleventh, 2009, in this pretty obscure place i dont know if youve heard of it its called new york, theres like a whole conspiracy around an event that happened on that date, which is based off of jet fuel not being able to melt steel beams

That would be a wacky conspiracy. I sure hope that isn't easy to explain with basic materials science/engineering knowledge.

yeah but its not like its some major world event or something like that, that would just be silly

Mandela effect: who else remembers the September 11th attacks taking place in 2009?

I doubt it, although I imagine a couple explosive charges coincidentally placed in the correct spot may be able to get what you’re looking for…

It does. Firsthand

It sticks to kids tho.

Could someone explain to me what it means when it says “find something cool to melt a hole in and place your container on it”

Place the thermite on whatever you want to melt a hole in and light it up

When you need chemicals for your cooking business

not doing all that

This looks to be word for word ripped from the 1997 edition of the anarchist cookbook i remember floating around the net decades ago.

Thermite is pretty boring imo. Just burns. Magnesium looks 1000x more interesting when it burns

[removed]

it won't burn it definitely ,but enough of it, might melt it though

197: transrights! 🤗🥳🥰 equality for everyone!

Also 197: here is how to be an effective domestic terrorist:

Why are 197 users so dumb this is clearly a breaking bad reference

That's 196. They won't unban me even though I've assured them I'm a cute submissive femboy bottom now.

They go hand in hand, commit domestic terrorism for trans rights

Its actually used in metallurgy

Noooo you can't just use thermite for welding

these are not incompatible

196: noooo you can’t wish to kill pedos!! They’re people too!!

197: here’s how to make thermite

informative (OP will be thanked when I finish my goal)

Finally, something I can use to melt steel beams! I’ve been trying to do it using burning jet fuel, and it’s completely ineffective.

An alternative solution is to place explosive charges at the base and blame another organization funded and developed by the us government

Are there still people out there who think 9/11 was an inside job?

I made a thermite bomb with my brother for my year 6 science project.

Ah a fellow average thing hi!

Better call saul?

Is it able to quietly burn through a bank door?

E team art project

Jesse, what are you doing?

thanks. gonna show it off at preschool tomorrow.

Thermites cringe I’m gonna go smoke a beer

Why would I need that science nerd?

Wow crazy, like everyone doesn’t know how to make thermite

😟

Breaking Bad reference

Question: what if you put it into napalm and then tried to light it

Question: what if you

Put it into napalm and

Then tried to light it
