Reminds me of that time when me and my ex visited a some friends of hers. I saw the guy had a ps3 and mortal kombat, and asked if he played. He did, but he only had one controller. But, he also had guitar hero. So we gave the guitar a try and it worked, so I said I could play using the guitar.
I absolutely crushed the poor guy, over and over using the guitar (I should mention I completely suck at guitar hero). I didn't realize how annoyed my ex was getting while watching me crush her friend like that. She wouldn't stop yelling at me for the entirety of the 1,5 hour drive home afterwards. Telling me the least I could have done was to let him win a few times.

He found it very funny, he laughed as much as me at the fact that playing on the guitar even worked. He was a good sport about the whole thing, and we did have some rematches over the years. He wasn't a big gamer, so he didn't have the same intuition when it came to combos, special moves and such. But he was however an accomplished musician. He could pick up any instrument and play it like he had done it for years and years. All in all, being bested in games feels less like a loss when you're amazing at every instrument you try. He never needed notes either, just played songs after hearing them a few times.

I'll admit there is some amount of button mashing with certain characters. But with some characters it's just juggling and combos all the way. Scorpion is one such character, and we both quickly agreed I wasn't allowed to play with him. Pretty close the flawless victories with him each time I played him.

Ehhh it’s not weak. Some people just shouldn’t play competitive games (I am included.). What is perhaps a failure is to not recognize that and to get pissed over and over again for no reason. I got rid of Mordhau. Fun game but too frustrating for me because I really dislike losing. I’m always an innovator and while I can hone, I don’t like it. If I can’t find a good way to innovate in a competitive game, I leave it alone. I tried a few things in mordhau, but try hards who literally spent ten thousand hours fighting with kitchen knives and pans naked made me too mad. I tried all kinds of fun builds like all throw or over armored, but the honers ruined the experience.

So over time people have just developed ways to type that diverge from th academic standard just to communicate more subtleties in their meaning.

Honestly I would play chivalry 2 more, if PS4 would finally be given an option to remap the throwing attack. 9/10 times you'll do a high feint into stab. Why? Cause the fucking input for throwing is L1 and R1 at the exact same time. Any slight difference in timing and it doesn't work. I love throwing shit at people, but it's so frustrating when more often than not, you simply don't get the input you want.

well, for most 3d games, it teleports the cursor to the center of the screen very frequently and calculates how much the mouse moved with it. a graphics tablet has absolute positioning and will always put the cursor in the same coordinates the pen is at, then the game will think you move your mouse a fuck ton and make you spin very fast uncontrollably
