It find it funny that countries often seem to coincide in what happens in elections.

Examples: Argentina/US; we had a huge string of leftists in power, then a president from the controlled opposition who was a businessman pre-campaign, then the left makes a comeback and they keep blaming everything they do on Macri/Trump.

And now Sweden's leftists lose to, and censor any mentions of, their right-wing elections winner, while here in Argentina Milei is gaining support by the droves for the 2023's elections.

What are the chances Milei gets elected? I've been hearing a lot about that but it's more like jokes of his popularity rather than anyone supporting him.

We'll see. He's an economist, and he hasn't boarded the politician's boat until later in his life, unlike our current parasites who got on it the very second they graduated and have zero experience in the private sector.

It all comes down to whom has the highest chances of actually changing things, and that's Milei. If you watch his TED talk, you'll notice he has been consistent for decades, so he's unlikely to change his discourse just to please the welfare tire-burners

Wait what's this about Bernie Sanders?

The internet is American

Maybe it's Reddit's version of Google's, “It looks like these results are changing quickly...” which seems to only occur when something of significance escapes the media bias machine before they can spin it.

Same here. Doesn’t seem odd for Reddit at all though.

Yeah speech that disagrees with my world view is Hate speech, and Hate speech is violence. But also Silence is Violence. In either case you're a threat to democracy and a Domestic Extremist unless you believe precisely the same things I do.

Same, what’s going on with the election?

Damn, the left are winning?

Well...on reddit they are, but not in reality

I was able to search "Sweden " on my phone app, but nothing came up about the election.

My phone web browser has results 🤷🏻‍♂️

Looks to me like the search is busted. I'm getting the same result for anything I search for.

"""Busted"""

I had the same issue a couple hours ago when I tried searching for "dildo". Naturally I assumed this was also a woke conspiracy of some sort.

When the dildo elections are approaching and the side reddit mods hate starts gaining traction to become the dildo king, you might have a point there. But until that happens, this comparison is as poor as comparing shaving your face to shaving your teeth.

Lol, the point is that search was busted no matter what you were searching for. If you think Reddit censoring information about the swedish election is a more likely explanation for this than some programmer pushing a bad patch to production, you have brain worms.

If you're ignorant of big tech companies' track record on stuff like this, your mouth must look like a beach with your head buried so far underground

Wow. Why the fuck do I even stay on this shitty platform? Think I'll go read a book instead

Lol did you see that video of the guy answering the door to ATF agents trying to search his house for a home made suppressor? Agent: "[the ATF] stops Dangerous Criminals from getting Guns on the Streets-" Guy: "Oh like at Waco? Or maybe Ruby Ridge?" Agent: "OMG You need to stop reading Books!" as if that's some sort of defense or comeback lmao.. the agents didn't deny any of it, just that he shouldn't Know about those things. Then the agents threatening to shoot his dogs and telling him to keep his hands out of his pockets on His property. How can scum like that live with themselves?

Fascinating

It's the same on my account. Searches give zero results.

Same, I'm in Canada, and I get no results either.

it was working a few hours ago because i was reading threads due to this specific event. fucking WILD.

Well I get results.... just not anything remotely correct, it's just that one post spammed on many, many subs.

No, reddit search was busted yesterday for everything. ( I tried searching Scarlett Johansson).

Anyways just search whatever you want on google and add "site:www.reddit.com" at the end it's miles better than reddit search.

Yeah - this. The funny thing is all searches worked for me, but if I searched Sweden or Swedish, I'd get this. But then it suddenly stopped and it worked again. My guess is the bug may have been triggered by a large amount of queries? Hence why Sweden (election) or Scarlett J (whatever is new with her).

But I declare you were right - this wasn't another censorship

All of my searches on Reddit worked, this is fake news and definitely not happening.

hmmm i can here in spain

Both search terms work for me, maybe reddit noticed that you guys noticed

I literally found this post by searching "Sweden"...

Haha, that's hilarious. Yeah, evidently there was a bug for a little bit that affected some other searches too, but most keywords still worked, that's why I had the wrong idea. But yeah, there was no censorship, just a bug
