Holy shit is this real?

Id like to know too

I looked it up and it says that the death toll of suicides between military personel is 30 177 since 2001

Edit: my bad i think i read wrong, don't want to spread misinformation lol this is the link

Looked it up where? The organization dedicated to fighting vet suicide says it’s accurate

https://stopsoldiersuicide.org/vet-stats

It’s 15 suicides everyday since 2001. On average.

Holy. Fuck.

Fun fact, about 2.3 Americans died in battle per day in the Revolutionary War. Far more died from disease.

2.3?

Yeah the .3 is the bits of the humans that were lost.

Ah, that would make sense

But then after 4 day they found it back.

But one person died and another lost a few bits.

That almost every 4 days.

Reality was that war wasn't as deadly as you think back then it really started to change in the American civil war/Crimean war then it got real fucking spicy in WW1 and WW2 and with the only near peer was that's going on is the Russian invasion of Ukraine it looks like we're going to get even spicier or that can be just due to the shown incompetence of the Russian armed forces and the wall of Ukrainian willpower not to lose their country

I wonder what this says about America, mental health, the military industrial complex, and how little of a fuck the people sending you to go die for the sake of profit actually give about you? Prolly nothing. Free college kids! Don't you want that? Follow orders, they're just brown people

America's mental health and veterans? They don't care. GOP claim to be pro-life but then when you go to report problems and try and get them taken care of you're always met with walls. I'm not laying this only at the gop's doorstep, because Dems are to blaim as well, but for a party to loudly claim pro-life and sweep veterans under the rug or out the door like they do is a disgrace.

Yea but one party is definitely worse. As you seem to be indicating. Im just stating it up front

It's all the same machine just spewing whatever to get elected. They just want your votes and money. But yeah, pro life crowds tend to not be out here like, making sure the babies that don't get aborted can actually have decent, stable lives or anything. If anyone should be help accountable it is politicians but lots of these issues are basically advertisements of self righteous piety that requires no actual conviction or action, like how most people are with their devout beliefs

Yup . A bunch of mentally unhealthy and homeless veterans all over our country, who Possibly could've ignited their mental illnesses from things they say/did, or had done to while fighting for the freedom of our country, are left to fend for themselves.. it truly is a devastating reality for a lot of people who only tried to do the next right thing in every aspect of their lives, just to eventually get spit in the face and ignored..

I have so much more that I want to say, but I'm half asleep and if I don't post this now, then I never will..

[deleted]

When did he say they weren’t white?

[deleted]

You misinterpreted it. That last sentence doesn’t mean that the soldiers are brown people, it means that the people they’re fighting are brown people. It’s a long running joke making fun of the civilian casualties and treatment by the U.S in its operations in the Middle East.

They're talking about the Iraqi and Afghans

it ain’t good i tell you wHat

[removed]

The shit they gotta do and see is pretty fucked, only psycho and sociopaths can come back from there without any issues

Or, they become sociopath or psychopath by being in the army, when you came back from war. That can happened.

You dumb slut

It ain't that. It's the people in leadership who constantly treat them like shit and blackmail them into being their bitch. Leadership is waaayyyy too power hungry and it kills

I mean that too lol

Trust me it's the no.1 reason

Yeah there's a lot of power tripping, blackmail, rape and questionable deaths/disappearances in the military its not that hard to believe its both lol

No one knowingly volunteers to put themselves in a position where they are willing to kill themselves.

That's a lot man

But people think these people are horrible people when they live with what they are ordered to do and their hate is fueling suicide despite these same veterans asking for help and being shunned.

This countries fucked yo

Not sure it’s right to say “they were ordered to” since it was their decision to join the military in the first place.

Once your in though your sort of stuck in.

Not everyone knows the full bullshit that does go on inside the military. There’s enough bullshit everywhere for everyone to not know everything going on.

And I'm going to add myself to that list, my right leg doesn't work too good anymore and I can't sleep at night

Nah, OP's pretty close. His is veteran suicide, not active military personnel suicide

Source: VA, roughly ~6k/year since 2001.

I looked it up and it says it is 120,000K or more

https://stopsoldiersuicide.org/vet-stats#:~:text=Since%202001%2C%20more%20than%20120%2C000%20veterans%20have%20died%20by%20suicide.&text=Since%202006%2C%20there%20has%20been,34%20year%20old%20male%20veterans.

I also found a bunch of articles talking about how a veteran is 1.5 times as likely to commit suicide, this article was written by the VA, also by the VA is a graph sowing the annual death toll from suicide in veterans which is as follows: 2001- 5989 deaths 2002- around 6150 deaths 2003- around 6000 deaths 2004- around 6000 deaths 2005- around 6100 deaths 2006- around 6000 deaths 2007- around 6200 deaths 2008- around 6550 deaths 2009- around 6550 deaths 2010- around 6550 deaths 2011- around 6400 deaths 2012- around 6400 deaths 2013- around 6500 deaths 2014- around 6600 deaths 2015- around 6600 deaths 2016- around 6500 deaths 2017- around 6750 deaths 2018- around 6600 deaths 2019- 6261 That is about 120,669 deaths between 2001 and 2019

Me Omw to spread misinformation

[deleted]

If you read this comment how did you get “fake?”

Well the video shows 4 times the number the comment talks about

What is it in the general population?

But what is the rate, like per 100,000. For both the general and military populations?

For general population in 2020 it was 13 or 14 per 100,000

Miltiary rates 2020

The rates -- the number of deaths compared in relation to the population size -- increased slightly for the active duty and Reserve forces -- from 26.3 per 100,000 in 2019 to 28.7 for the active duty and for Reserves, from 18.2 to 21.7 per 100,000 -- and significantly for the National Guard, from 20.5 to 27 per

Thanks. I couldn’t find the comparison.

This seems to be total, not per year so its a bit misleading; but yes this is most likely real. Suicide rates are extremely high particularly in veterans. They give their whole lives to the military that doesn’t treat them well, they often leave the military due to disability then when they get home they have little to no support, nothing to fall back on and frequently a drug/alcohol dependence.

Yup. "22 a day" is a rallying cry in the veteran community as thats the average for how many veterans commit suicide daily (full disclosure, haven't read the statistics recently, it may have changed.)

The suicides are/were typically from the older wars, though. A lot of Vietnam vets and such.

Its a shitty thing and the V.A. doesn't do dick to help us. Virtually no politician does anything to help us. All they do is give lip service to get elected and then they drop us. (Which, thats normal for most things, but still...)

I feel empathy and genuinely bad for people who get roped into joining the military. Enticing perks, you (hopefully) believe you are genuinely doing a good thing and offering a necessary service, and then just kicked you to the curb as the whole thing is mostly just a massive sham for profit

My recruiter got me on the college stuff. There was no other way for me to ever go.

It was quite the adventure from 2000-2009.

I get it. College can open up a lot of doors but personally I feel like it is such a ripoff compared to just learning a trade. Recruiters definitely prey on the youth though

Back in the late 90’s, only those stupid kids when to trade schools.

It was the high point of getting all of us to go that direction.

The VA tries, I have had good counselors.

Problem is ~50% of the VA budget goes to making compensation payments rather than actively helping us. Congress won’t separate the two, and you have people like Rand Paul actively shitting on us constantly when anything VA comes up.

The VA is bad about letting people “fall off”, and if you just disappear they don’t really do anything about it, mostly because they are so overwhelmed.

Rand Paul isn’t shittng on veterans, he’s demanding that the tax payer money the VA receives be spent helping veterans and not wasted on useless crap like every other federal agency. Stop listening to the democrat assholes who think he should be arrested every time he refunds part of his office stipend, while they buy garbage with their share of tax $.

He literally fought against toxic exposure bill. If you think otherwise, just read what he said. There is no “dems suck rabble rabble!!!” about it.

Did you read that bill? Can you explain why a bill to help veterans had that much pork? $400 billion in a slush fund that is not locked to veteran programs at all. I didn’t spend 12 years in the Navy, and survive the betrayal of a medical discharge so some DC weasel could spend money promised to veterans buying votes.

I didn’t spend 12 years in the Navy, and survive the betrayal of a medical discharge so some DC weasel could spend money promised to veterans buying votes.

Oh but you did.

Well a recent study / survey estimates that number as double, so 44 a day now. Completely heart breaking

Veterans are at higher risk of suicide but this plot is no better at describing it than a blank piece of paper.

r/dataisbeautiful

Beautiful you say

it's so linear, I have doubts

Yes but more civilians died of suicide then veterans of the same period, but veterans do it at a somewhat higher rate. 1.5x ish

What you are saying is if you are a veteran you are 50% more likely to commit suicide then the average citizen

But….way more citizens, like 50x are commuting suicide. Not rate, just p

Addressing the core issue might be more effective then focusing on groups

Agree but when you have a group of 310 million vs 18 million you have to recognize they are at increased risk. Yes better mental health for everyone would be good. I think the point of this is war is hell and we need to rethink they way we do things or haphazardly send people into this situations and if we are going to send people in to fight for us we need to take care of them when they come back

There was probably a spike after they said they’d forgive 10k$

Yes its real but the numbers are being debated between 31000 to 110000 US soldiers have committed suicide since 2001

Grain of salt sense this is a meme page, but this is an outstanding video of a vet talking about it

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dNpiURO8Yb0&feature=emb_title

Yes, but to be fair, I think things like cancer would top pretty high compared to actual combat too.

I hope not

But then again ecperiencing war is horrific wether your in the frontlines or not

Not many things can make my jaw drop but this did

It’s not that surprising. There’s like 20 million veterans in the US and 2-3 million soldiers have gone to Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s still terrible though.

Among us?!

Yo bro there is this funny little statistic you should join because of how unfunny you are.

No, but he’s half right. You deal with hazing, stupid meaningless military culture BS, training that lasts between 3 days & 1 month. Meanwhile, you build a relationship with someone you fall in love with & confide in. Deploy 7 months & see some shit, hate life, only look forward to coming back to her. Come back & find out she’ got bored waiting, & was fucking other people. Your probably between 18-25, so this is one of your first “real” relationships… That shit sucks.

Luckily I didn’t have kids with her, or succeed in killing myself. I worked my life out, went to college, got a career & found my soulmate of 12 years on the rebound. Not everyone is so fortunate.

This is what committing suicide will look like in 2013

That’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard

When helmets were introduced we saw an increase in head injuries.

Because instead of dying... they were just injured

Instead of dying in combat, they just got ptsd

This is only comparable if head injuries also meant death. The result is the same.

Survivorship Bias

Hey that's actually a good point.

which is why it was pointed out decades ago

This just made me sad :/

Yo the war against suicide not looking to bright

No matter the context, I always headbang to this guitar solo. It kinda feels weird headbanging on post about war veterans suicides.

0 vets committed suicide 2019-2020????

maybe lack of data, happens once in a while

my cousin killed himself and he was deployed in afghanistan from 2011 to 2015 in 2019

yeah I wasn’t saying it wasnt true but the graph stops going higher for suicides when 2019 hits

yeah it’s just crazy how they go and fight so far away and then they end it all. i wish the us did more to help tbh

I'm sorry, hope you're doing alright tho.

bet I knew killed himself last year. he couldn’t sleep

No suicide has only gone up, it’s the highest it’s ever been now.

I was a soldier on fort Carson. One of the biggest bases in terms of soldier suicides. I knew people in my unit and through others that tried. Some failed, some didn't. The song choice passed me off. This is real not a fucking joke

What a misinformed and trashy attempt at humor

There are photos of soldiers posing and laughing with dead civilians

That’s a child’s perspective on conflict and stupidly reductive.

You don’t justify the continued abuse and neglect of hundreds of thousands of active, reserve and veterans because some are bad people.

I know a flight medic that dealt with indirect fire daily on his deployment. He’s a reservist and has been a paramedic as his civilian job for the last ten years and is applying to go to pa school.

I know a mechanic that has permanent injuries while deployed because of equipment that needed to be replaced but wasnt.

I know an infantryman whose son got hurt while he was away on deployment and couldn’t see him, then got shot in the stomach and had to be flown out to get surgery to save his life.

None of those people are the folks you describe. Hell most of the military serves in a support capacity and has stronger feelings about that shit than you do.

You don’t know a goddamned thing about what you’re talking about and your lumping innocent men and women that need help and we depend on for stability against the aggressions of nations like Russia and China.

You feel bad about something but are either too lazy or ignorant to actually look anything up and people like you and your sentiment are the reason why congress doesn’t have to do shit and that number in the clip is so damn high.

It’s on you, you’re the one pulling the trigger and your a damn hypocrite for saying they deserve it because you’re doing the same thing you’re falsely accusing them of now.

Who the fuck downvotes this, suicide should not be a joke

Not reading all that

Dude I know you’re trying to spread positivity but this is infinitely more reductive than anything else in this comment section. How can you possibly rationalize accusing a person of having a child’s perspective on the war on terror and then go on to make your brilliant counterargument of “I, an American citizen, know a half dozen soldiers who are really nice to me.”

People really need to accept the complexity of these things. People always look for black and white solutions, while forgetting that everything is a different shade of grey.

It's sad. R.I.P. those veterans who felt things were so bad that they had to end it all.

Don’t worry guys! Air Force is working REALLY hard on this! Can’t do much to improve the work-life balance and toxic work environments (MX and SecFo aren’t really people anyway) but they CAN issue out gun locks!

Fuckin’ solved bro.

Truth. MX and SecFo lead in divorce and suicide. AF doesn't care about us.

Suicide Average Per Day The average number of suicides per day among U.S. adults rose 55.0%, from 81.0 in 2001 to 125.6 in 2019. Across the same 18-year period, the average number of Veteran suicides per day rose 4.5%, from 16.4 in 2001 to 17.2 in 2019. In 2019, among the average 17.2 Veteran suicides per day, an estimated 6.8 suicides per day were among those with VHA encounters in 2018 or 2019, whereas 10.4 per day were among Veterans with no VHA encounter in 2018 or 2019.

Suicide Rates From 2001 to 2019, the U.S. adult population increased 26.2%, from 186.6 million in 2001 to 235.4 million in 2019. From 2001 to 2019, the Veteran population decreased 23.1%, from 25.7 million in 2001 to 19.8 million in 2019. In this context, from 2001 to 2019, the unadjusted suicide rate among non-Veteran U.S. adults rose 33.0%, from 12.6 per 100,000 in 2001 to 16.8 per 100,000 in 2019. In comparison, the rate among Veterans rose 35.9% from 2001 to 2019, from 23.3 per 100,000 in 2001 to 31.6 per 100,000 in 2019. In 2019, the unadjusted suicide rates were highest among Veterans ages 18-34 (44.4 per 100,000). The unadjusted rate decreased 12.8% for female Veterans in 2019 compared to 2018, and decreased 3.6% for male Veterans in 2019 compared to 2018.

https://www.mentalhealth.va.gov/docs/data-sheets/2021/2021-National-Veteran-Suicide-Prevention-Annual-Report-FINAL-9-8-21.pdf

So are they higher among vets than non-vets?

Correct, and is just now starting to decrease as Iraq and Afghanistan fade into history

I don’t see an apples to apples comparison.

I’m not saying killing kids is right. It’s fucking not. And I’m not saying I want to have PTSD. My parents already have it and it’s fucking awful. But at the same time, I don’t want to have to sleep under a highway bridge in my 20s.

Two: I’m gay. Im already going to hell according to y’all’s shitty book.

My cousin was a Marine and served in Afghanistan, took his own life a year ago. Desperately sad and such a waste of an amazing human.

Hey it's rough man I've been fighting that feeling ever since the pull out of afghanistan, it still bugs me today that all the suffering over there was for absolutely nothing and now that's just something I got to deal with, not to mention Behavioral Health at Fort Polk was definitely not the best, now I sit at home with my wife with a busted ass leg getting Pennies from the Army, it feels like I was throwing away man

When I was in The Seabees (Navy Construction Battalions) in my 2nd command I was there for 2 years and in that time 6-8 people tried to kill themselves.

What do I think lead to this? A toxic command environment. I was told I had to write people up even if they had not done anything wrong. I was admonished when my squad was squared away and had no infractions. I still refused to write them up if there was no infraction though.

What did I get for my trouble? Well I was refused leave that I had saved up to use before a deployment. This at a time when I was engaged and having issues with my fiancé that I needed to work things out before I left for another deployment. They pull this stuff on everyone.

1/3 people in the military report infidelity in the marriage while they’re away.. that’s a pretty scary statistic actually. Always wonder how much of the suicides are ptsd related and how many are just shattered hearts/family people.

That’s horrible

They didn't commit suicide because "no one cares" they likely did it because they couldn't live with the atrocities they committed while serving our country when all they wanted was a way through college. War is the death of humanity. You don't get to just flip a switch after watching so many people die. It sits in you. Forever.

New tactic for the US army. Recruit your enemies, send them into a war. When the come back, they commit suicide

fucking owned lol

why do they kill themselfs tho

VA is shit lo, veteran care is inefficient af

Total lack of support from the government in all but where it counts for optics.

For the army most mos training does not certify you for civilian a civilian job even if there is a need for that specific work. That is mostly because the army just doesn’t bother to make sure their training will be recognized.

I knew a guy that had been a diesel mechanic for 9 years, but had to take the entire course for two years and support his family on 9.50/hr because of that.

They have little to know comprehensive support for once your out unless you call them and say you’re considering Suicide.

They have no programs to identify people who have possible signs of ptsd outside of people who self-identify as far as I know.

They train you for a job that has no civilian analogue or doesn’t bother to make sure you’re certified if it does, they integrate you into a culture that does not prepare you for the world once you get out, the post 9/11 gi bill regularly drops people or loses records, they do not actually evaluate soldiers’ mental health capacity after deployment in any meaningful way. After you get out they dump you into the real world with no plan or programs after putting you in a system that makes you essentially dependent on them and lacking core skills and knowledge about life your civilian peers have.

They run a fucking slaughterhouse and don’t give a damn because the US government is only proficient at accruing debt and killing us service members.

ok

Why ask if you’re going to dismiss the answer?

I think he was at a loss for words

No longer with your battles, institutionalized, no sense of purpose, the you are no longer doing gangster shit, personalities changed forever affecting relationships with others, those who saw combat lose parts of themselves on the battlefield, relationships/family falls apart once out, the rush of life is gone. They are truly alone once out of service most of the time. It takes a special kind of person to keep going once they are out in the civilian world. Even those who appear ok, that are successful and thriving at times are fighting a mental battle taking it one day at a time.

I think we've taken a wrong turn

Let me guess, 2 bullets in the back with the head while hanging and dying from cyanide poisoning?

/s

That’s a bad metric, you gotta compare veteran deaths with non veteran suicides in the civilian population. Unfortunately the data on civilian suicide rarely EXCLUDES veterans so you get messed up numbers.

More like 1.5x prolly

Someone posted the adjusted #s if you scroll down a bit

I'd like to see this compared to the peacetime soldier suicide rate, but we'd have to go back to the 80's for a time when the US wasn't at war somewhere

Now do a graph on how many poor and innicent afgans and Iraqis have died because of Americans.

Then I'd like to see a graph of how many poor and innocent afghans and Iraqis dies to groups like isis

Read a book about how people lived in the 1980s in Afghan and Iraqi. They lived just like in America, and were free. Now, look at how they live now. The last 20 years were hard on everyone, but the goal was freedom. You are currently arguing that America shouldn’t fight terrorists that are trying to suppress people and force religion on them.

Most of the suicides active duty are due to sexual assault not being handled properly in the workplace. Rip my crewmates who have committed suicide.

The death of our veterans is extremely sad to see. They deserve much better treatment for volunteering their lives for our safety.

Pre-WW2, disease was the 1st or 2nd highest reason for death during war until medical breakthroughs. But this…yikes. Hopefully there’s a breakthrough for mental health coming too

I think we need to help our veterans out

funny meme and all but it's absolutely disgraceful that we as a country allow for this to happen. veteran's services are woefully inadequate, with the VA refusing to cover military-related issues by claiming they were pre-existing (even when there's evidence that it was in fact linked to their military service).

Jesus Christ

This is horrific

This shit isnt funny though, especially the caption. At a certain point it just becomes fucking awful and this is far beyond that point.

Not too long ago we had a dude sitting in the armory and decided to try the mindblowing flavor of brass. Put the m9 in his mouth and pulled the trigger.

A lot of people do not speak up, the peers care and knows the resources but lack the commitment to help.

I saw my best buddy going through some shit and I physically dragged him to the chaplains doorstep and later mental health. Did this for about a year until he became stable and still always there for him after. Not many people have the same commitment because they don’t know what will actually help.

I feel so bad for you rn 😢

What has our government done to stem the suicide rate?

Militarized the police, now you can make a phone call 'for help' and your 'suicide' is a homicide.

Damn bro this suicide shit is dangerous

God Bless America!!!

Can we get much higher

The answer is simple: we invade Suicide.

Lower than the general public

F in the chat o/

Go dawgs

Jokes aside rip all of the veterans who died in action or by shooting themselves

How many suicides in non vets in the same age group. How many vet suicides are combat vets.

idk if its real or not, it still represents the sad reality. Both in Iraq/Afghanistan and the suicides…

And they wonder why nobody wants to fuckin join.

This is what happens when you're the baddies

Nothing can be done until Republicans stop their war against Americans having a decent standard of living. Health care is where you begin to deal with mental health issues.

thats kinda fucked

Non-prior service don’t understand the toxicity of some units, leadership, and contracts handed down to kids with asymmetric information.

Sure. I was 17, dad went nuts on me, I went on a 3 day binge of overdosing (tylenol takes a week to kill you), the binge fell on a day i was supposed to be at Army Reserves formation, of course I wasn't going there because they'd be like "Bro, why are you a fucking mess?" and that'd mess up the plan. Anyway, the next time I'm at formation they were like "Why were you AWOL" and I said "I was overdosing on Tylenol trying to kill myself" and they respnonded "Okay, but why were you AWOL?"

Same % as civilians?

It might be idk, I just assumed they come back and try to reintegrate themselves into a regular society and it doesn’t work.

Man if this data is true then something is seriously wrong. Shoulders are supposed to be

Can’t tell anything if you don’t normalize it to ordinary people. If you plot the natural death rate, it will be much higher

Enlist today……………..

u/savevideo

Thats because of the messed up things they make them do like kill whole families and torture people... Lots of people...

[deleted]

There's a lot of factors. Losing friends is heart breaking. Being cheated on while deployed is heart breaking. Being fucking dirty poor despite all your dedicated hours is heart breaking. Not being able to find a job despite years of service is heart breaking. Alcoholism, drug addiction, being shit on for being late to formation and having your pay docked. It's a giant shit rainbow of issues.

Ah! I know the reference in the title! You're a man of culture

Holy shit that’s so messed up

are you saying over 100,000 veterans have committed suicide in the last twenty years? Like is this accurate? that is a PREPOSTEROUS number!! Jesus fuck why aren’t we screaming from the rafters about this!?

Because lives are cheap. Therapy costs $195 an hour.

i paid $60 an hour! That’s bullshit!

But hey as long as we don’t fund the VA.

Yeah, about 20 vets commit suicide a day iirc.

Song?

Free Bird

That was posted a long time ago, you think I haven’t figured out the song yet?

Sorry, I don’t look at when these things come out.

Well gawd damn…. Guess they needed to hit the gulag

*Men's mental health 👀

Here before lock award

Anyone dumb enough to want to be in the military, should be allowed in. -Bill Hicks

This was sad to see. We don’t do enough for the people we ask to serve when they come home.

I feel like an asshole for laughing

Sorry, this isn't real or accurate. The rates of suicide in veterans and active duty is significantly lower than the population at a whole.

The fact that i recognize the phrase in the title...

Spoilers/warning: it's from the suicide video of Ronnie Mcnutt

I had to scroll so far before it was mentioned, I'm quite shocked by that

Rotating rat

I wonder how this would look starting 10 years prior.

America number 1 again

I would like to see a global suicide rate version of this

this suicide guy is too good

Ayooo somebody help these people!

Bring democracy to you

Where the fıck is the Suicide on the map? They must be very strong

An entire army killed itself

That oil was worth it 😎😎😎

At least they got a charger first

Joa

There’s no damn way. I want to believe this is real but at the same time that’s terrible

Imagine getting home from Afghanistan or Iraq just to commit suicide after seeing some shit

What's sad is most of these guys could've gotten help but their government didn't care when they weren't usefull

Song?

Nothing can stop me from Ronnie McNutting!¡!!!!!!!!!!

Yes

That’s a lot of facebook lives.

🤯🤯🤯

Wait, what...

Look up civilian vs military deaths in Japan on august 9th 1945

Song: free bird from LYNRD SKNRD (its pronounced as "leh-Nerd ski-Nerd"

Inspired by Ronnie Mcnutt

America always on top 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Pretty avid proof that the US commits such acts of violence that those witnessed would rather die than to live with the memories of what they did.

SOME FOLKS ARE BORN

MADE TO RAISE THE FLAG

Not even 1 year in and they got 10000

Military am I right

Is that everyday count or yearly count

rip ronnie mcnutt 😔

Damn, this made me want to check up on my aunt cuz how bummed this made me

Now post Russians 😈

America number 1!!!

boys iaiaiahhh

Your injury is not service related.

Is the title a ronnie mcnutt reference

"guess I'll do it myself"

Quite mind blowing

Jokes aside that very sad

moral of the story americans get the most kills

Bro, I'm a gen Z i should know what the "z" in Gen Z stands for

Also there is no "h" in slang

Song name: lynyrd skynyrd - Free Bird

They kill binded and lost their kill streak, pretty cringe

The number of veterans dying of cancer is also concerning

USA moment

Redditors after saying "USA moment" the 7 millionth time -🤓

Dam. So much death for a country who couldn’t keep ‘Nam and still considers itself the best country in the world

FIRST PLACE BABY!!!!! 🥇

That’s not funny

The war still rages within
