That one clip of inuyashas ending with Kagome on the train. I wasnât a big fan of the show but adored the art, and they made some really pretty ending sequences.

I can vividly remember them! Their ending sequences were really good
I recognize perfect Blue, ocean waves, ghost in the Shell, can someone name the others movie ?
Inuyasha might be apart of it, i swear i saw Kagome lol
Yes she was in the train, such a vibe of an ending tbh. Perfect representation of how I feel sometimes lol
The original Inuyasha endings always hit right in the feels, then and now.
i know the fan, it is neon genesis evangelion
That retro anime aesthetic tho. Amazing
Can't help but notice that your edit is damn near the same as this....
The original is a mash of other artist's work. I enjoyed OPs 'remix' of the remix.
The clip selection and order is, but not the edit. I did my best to edit it with the time of the music. I really didnât think clip order would matter. I just picked the ones I liked and put it in
I hear you just wanted to point it out since I'm a big fan of the original one and you used the same clips in the same order
Fair enough! I really just wanted to make a nice vibe and as someone who isnât an anime fan, other than perfect blue I had no idea where else to look for clips, other than âanime 90âs Vapor wave aesthetic â
Please watch cowboy bebop, deathnote and then samurai champloo đđ˝
Sailor Moon (original 90s version, not Crystal) seems like a no brainer. It's aesthetic af.
Clip order is Iâd say a significant process of editing. You took someoneâs edit and put other music on top. It doesnât matter if you cut a few clips down to match it.
I had to time each one, chose which ones to axe and extend some. Man I just wanted to make a little edit
You also titled the post "just a little thing *I made*"
You didn't make this.
I made the edit. Thatâs that
You did. And I enjoyed it. You did good. Just would have loved to hear you credit the version you took inspiration from rather than someone else.
I took inspiration from an instagram reel on the Letterboxd account. I used clips from a selection that came up on YouTube when I searched 90âs anime Vapor wave aesthetic
In this place we are expecting actual vaporwave artists releases. So when we see something mislabeled we will jump down your throat. Just say "Here is something I edited" and this confusion goes away.
I really enjoyed it, I think you did a great job with it.
Toonami bump đŻ
Not an anime fan but goddamn nothing can beat the pure, amazing artistry that went into them.
The painted background, hand drawn characters, realism and details to electronics, guns, cars and the vivid colors are something to be treasured. Even better when you watch them on vhs.
From your comments, it really seems like you're an anime fan
At least of the cyberpunk genre
It's one of those things that yeah, I'll admit I'm a fan, but I do not like the crowd.
I just love the art.
I get it, I don't talk about anime irl often unless it's with my close friends
There's a new film by Makoto Shinkai coming out early next year that you may be interested in
I'm an old man (mentally anyways), I like the anime from 80s and 90s. Currently watching Ninja Resurrection right now actually
I brought up the movie coming out since ya mentioned liking the art and details in the background
The movies made by the director are quite impressive in its' art
Can't go wrong with 80s/90s anime too, have a nice day
The nostalgia is c r i s p in this one.
Why do I get goosebumps when I look at those âoldâ anime clips? I am not even that big of a fan of anime đ
Fantastic.â¤ď¸

Beautiful song
fantastic. such a comforting song
This is a Billy Idol song right?
Yep
Yep
What I wouldnât give to live in a classic anime world listening to vapor wave in the background and having liminal experiences
God I love this vibe. Take all my awards!
Oh, the pink rollerphone.
Name of the movie
They don't know because they used someone else's video to make their video.
A good few clips are from perfect blue. Donât know the rest tho. If you wanna watch it, I recommend picking up the shout factory bluray. That print is gorgeous
Thatâs cuz you didnât make it
Yeah but I did tho. đ
I was waiting for the song to start
I like this very much. Thanks for the dopamine.
I swear in my last life, I was living my peak life in the 80s & early 90s.
Can anyone recommend any anime with this aesthetic? Cyberpunk and vaporwave
Akira, ghost in the shell, cowboy bebop, redline, Astro boy (80âs series)
Oh and Animatrix! Skip final flight of the Osiris, tho
These sound great! Thank you for the recommendations
More please?
do you have a lost of movies please?
I Only know perfect blue
yeah i think theres ghost in the shell and akira in it too
Surely there is a clip from Ghost in the Shell in there?
Probably
But didn't you make this? Shouldn't you know?
I donât watch anime, but I heard the song and wanted to make an edit. I just went searching for clips.
I dig the groove, well done. If you got some music on record share some links plz
Thx, tought it was ur music
Awesome job op â¤ď¸
I love it, wow
Lovely mate
So where do I watch this on YouTube?
The clips are easy to find, but I made this edit. I love the song and especially the intro and thought itâd work great with this. I was inspired by a perfect blue edit to this song on the Letterboxd instagram
Nice work. The melody sounds like a popular song out of the 80s but I canât place it. Whatâs the sample from?
Eyes without a face by Billy idol. I used an instrumental version
Thank you!! That was driving me nuts for a bit. I knew âeyesâ was somewhere in the title.
Oh my gosh I thought it was this one:
https://youtu.be/nfk6sCzRTbM
If you arenât familiar with it, listen to Nmeshâs A Face Without Eyes
Awesome!! Keep up the amazing work
[deleted]
It has neither of those
Love this so much
Something hit different about seeing that heart/love letter moment. Man. This is nostalgia.

Vibes.
got a download link?
You just dropped me into a nostalgia coma
I couldn't hear the music because I was listening to Another Life by Motionless and white and tbh, it kinda fits. Nice job on the edit btw!
Listen to the actual music man, it fits so well (imo)
I did. Nice work â¤ď¸

Looks like OP hasn't been entirely honest when it comes to the title. Here's the original video where this has been taken from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOMjH6_oe9A.
Leaving this up as it's gained a lot of traction in the subreddit.
While it's okay to re-post work with edits in the subreddit, it is not okay to claim edited work as yours. And it is especially important to give credit when your post is derived from others' work.
Failing to follow these simple rules in the future can result in a submission being removed.
I literally did re edit it. If you notice there clips missing, some are slowed and most are synced up to the music. I still edited a bunch of clips together. I really just didnât know which clips to use as I donât watch anime
You don't even know the material used? This is just plagiarism without effort. This would get you expelled from a school.
Really dude? I went through and curated them. I chose which I liked. That video ainât perfect. It uses a lot that I think donât fit the vibe. I did my fucking part.
Did you really cut the clips from each episode or movie they were in? I don't think you did because they appear to be ripped from that YT vid and you can't even name anything except Perfect Blue.
So, yeah, really.
And don't knock someone else's work by saying it "ain't perfect" thus implying you somehow 'improved' it. That's just rude.
Oh Iâm sorry for not watching anime. Look I just wanted to put some neat visuals against a song I liked. And I did exactly that. Leave me alone
So you have claimed in multiple posts to not watch anime, yet after replying to me you're giving others anime recommendations?
You claimed to have made something without crediting the original which did the heavy lifting, which inspired you but at the same time you felt the need to put it down.
Enjoy your cognitive dissonance.
Iâve watched about two. I know others. I appreciate the art form. Thatâs what Iâm doing on this post. Geez youâre a real bring down, guy. And what inspired me was an instagram post from a company with hundreds of thousand of followers
Well Lucas, tell yourself whatever you need to make yourself right.
If you want to put your music to something try making your own compilation or just put up a picture. It's lazy to steal from others.
You don't mind if I use your song and don't credit you do you? Think I'll improve it and chop it up a bit so people don't match it to you though.
Itâs not my song, so sure? Dude I really donât get your point. Is it really so important that I have to shuffle around the clips? Itâs not about the order, itâs just about seeing them paired with the song in general
It's about the wording of "made" or created vs edited. Most of this could have been avoided with a proper title and credits. Instead you dug in and didn't want to clarify in a way that showed understanding or humility.
It's simple, credit artists and sources. Use correct terminology. Don't be a dick when corrected or you'll have those artists and their fans coming down on you for being a fake that steals credit. Take it as a learning moment. I understand you put some effort in and don't want to be corrected instead of appreciated. It doesn't feel good. But just learn and move on using what you learned.
Iâm not claiming anything other than I made an edit. Whoops I made a mistake I physically couldnât change until it was too late. I wasnât being a dick, I was explaining my part over and over until I got fed up. You were the one saying I canât make an edit cause I donât watch anime
You got me confused with someone else.
Yeah u right. Itâs the other guy in this thread
