This is so cool! No uploads in over a year though :/ I hope wherever he is he's still making music and these fascinating machines.

Edit- I was checking out the circuit bend test video and fuckin ADAM NEELY was in the comments.

It seems like the guy gets busy with projects and vanishes for months at a time. I saw a comment on one of his older vids commenting that they're glad they started updating their youtube again. Could end up being a case of someone who doesn't habitually update their social media or accounts unless they feel like they have something to say.

That was a trip to see. Adam Neely should give him a shout out during one of his Q and A vids. It'd figure this guy using jazz to make experimental music with home made synths and midi devices would get his attention.

Look at more of his vids. Looks like he builds his own devices, he's got some circuit bent toy that is a secondary vocalist along with the "singer" here. This guy is crazy talented, and the vids where he performs with a live band are amazing. I'd love to learn about how he builds his synths.

Edit: Wowza, we got a bot or something not even a minute and already downvoted.

Ngl. This is pretty sick.

Here’s an album on Spotify. https://open.spotify.com/album/5vcN1DoKy69CcZAhKdrGg3?si=zwDfnaCqRtWtWYXjBTG-tQ ā€˜Connected’ isn’t on it unfortunately. Pretty interesting stuff though. Downloaded it for my next drive or workday.

This is crazy dope

What is this analog wizardry?

you might like jerobeam fenderson it's kinda the same concept they make the music with a bunch of math and an oscilloscope

I've seen this person's work before! Its just fucking awesome

Theres a dude on youtube that connects old school synthesizers to different mushroom, makes for some really strange sounds

This is awesome. Reminds me of Aphex Twin

This is awesome!

That's just magnificent. The engineering that was required to be created, is just a cherry on top.

The clock is ticking. This song is amazing... Thank you!

I don't understand the first part of your comment but I'm staying at my mothers house and when I read it I first noticed the ticking clock somewhere in the house.

It was pretty spooky lol

šŸ˜„ yeah i was meant to say with that he will get his spotlight soon

This probably something that i would listen to

I fucking hate neg comments like yours and always scrolling through your user history you contribute fuck all to this sub or any other. Do you want zero content on small subs? Then keep being a pedantic slug.

Lmao roasted and ratio’d

What does ā€œratio’dā€ mean? I’ve seen it used before but can’t figure out the meaning from context.

It means that the response to the comment got more likes/upvotes/thumbs up etc. than the original. It shows that despite the higher visibility of the original comment, it’s controversial nature means more people agree with the less visible response to that comment, and that’s reflected in the like count. I believe it originated from Twitter

while i get what you're saying, a channel of this calibre i would expect to have made much more of a ripple. 7.4k subs isn't a lot by youtube standards for a 10 year old account, especially for anything with a production value above grainy amateur home videos. plus, i feel it would be extremely hard to run into this in the wild, which is why i posted it.

Though I don't like the music, I really love the composition and the talent involved. The tinkering elevates it even higher..

Cuz it sounds like shit

damn that actually slaps

This is a gem right here. Thanks mate.

Wow that's a pretty neat setup! Love the vibe.

It didn't go hard until he whipped out the sax

Ever pleasant Techno-Wizardry

Is that a tube sequencer?

OK! So this is the future.

I don't get it. What's so special about it? Because it sounds good? What is that even?

The tambourine really completes it
