The original comment is fairly humorous though.

It used to be mostly memes (about different things), but now a lot of it is either something related to trans people or politics. If I wanted to constantly see those two things I'd go to a sub about them. Also, anyone who disagreed with the hive mind got downvoted to oblivion.

Many others who left for the same reason were often told that there are no rules as to what people can post, or they made a post on justunsubbed and 196 would make a post about that post and people in the comments would say the same. While I am aware of that, I think it's still a dumb argument. It's like one person saying: "This sub changed and I don't like it so I'm leaving" and another saying "We don't have to conform to your interests and we change because we can". Like okay? That person is still leaving because the sub changed. They know that it won't stay the same and will change, not refusing to accept that fact. They accept it by leaving if they don't like it.

And on the politics, there's too many for me (that post is an example). Many of their popular posts are radical, extreme or far left ideas (see the post). While I'm left leaning, I'm not far enough to where I agree with the popular beliefs, such as anyone who isn't like left wing (like centrists) is a bad person. This goes in line with how they seem to hate PoliticalCompassMemes, which many refer to as fascist or far/alt right. While I understand it is right leaning, especially since many right wing subs were banned, I don't see how it's the facist right wing Trump lover utopia many users say it is. Basically unlikely many members of that sub, I'm not an anarcho-communist or anything related. I'm just moderate left.

As for the trans posts, I just got tired of seeing so many. I have nothing against the trans community and have friends that are trans, but 196 seems to like them the same way they like femboys. In short, it's gotten repetitive.

(TL;DR) So in conclusion, r/196 has too many posts about politics (a personal reason is that I disagree with a lot of their opinions, though I still respect them) and trans people, hate anyone who isn't left wing and will massively downvote or remove anything they disagree with.

Side note: As of writing this, 8/10 of the top posts are about politics or lgbt people
