I am researching it now. If you give me a few minutes I might have a better explanation of your wonderful little lock there but it looks like it's either a railroad lock or a ship lock. I just have to ask where you pulled that lock out of the water??

Okay, so because of the size and depending on the area that you found it in it looks like it's either a railroad luggage lock or a chest lock used in 1800s shipping but with its size I can't really find anything other than the fact that it might be One of those two items:)

Yh coins are aplenty but mostly modern. I get a few from the 40s too
