doesn't seem to be available everywhere?
Finally I can watch Arthur and Minimoys
No videos in this playlist yet....
Damn you Geo(b)locking.
What the fuck is Snow Queen?
I believe it's the story Frozen is based on.
I clicked on Spaceballs to test this out and it was the Youtube version, which was blocked in my country. So I scrolled down and saw that the country's name was in French, so I switched my VPN to France and it worked.
Might need to do that with a lot of the movies on here, but that's not too big of a deal.
Good find, OP! Bookmarking this.
I chose Spaceballs to test this too šš»
Cool! I'd love a roku app for this!
I donāt know how hard it would be. Maybe I try !
That would be great! I wouldn't even know where to begin
[deleted]
It's always step three that makes things difficult
Idk, hoping is pretty easy to do
Thatās exactly why the correct format for that meme is:
Because the third step is the crux of the whole thing, and if it was that easy, it would already be done. i.e. step 3 is always to only be ā?ā.
Heh, I thought the authoritative way was post the wrong answer on purpose although I'm also acutely aware I may have stepped directly into that trap :-D
Just a warning, I havenāt heard good things about Rokuās Brightscript programming language. I am not a coder but I have heard it can be kinda difficult and annoying to program apps for Roku
An Android TV app would be awesome as well!
They already make it. It's called YouTube. Just search the name of the movie. All you need is a list to choose from.
I would also!
Need one for my Sony/google tv!

And in much better quality than youtube. You can find massive 50gb Blu-ray rips that are insanely good quality, or really good compressed h265 rips for 5-10gb depending on the movie and quality.
(Especially if you're looking for older movies that are on the Criterion collection. I've never seen older movies look that good.)
RARBG as well. Then setup a PLEX server, much better than these 123movies or free YouTube goofy alternatives
Then automate it with the *arr apps
Radarr, sonarr, lidarr, readarr, I've got the whole collection!
Yup. Plex is great.
Jellyfin.
What's a PLEX server?
Media server. Basically imagine a Netflix interface for all the TV shows and movies you have downloaded on your harddrive.
It will also let you access it from other devices on your network, transcoded them if required as well as a bunch of other stuff.
I personally recommend Jellyfin over Plex though, its free and open source while Plex puts a lot of its good features behind a pay wall.
Think of it as your own Netflix that has all of your personally downloaded content. Any audio or video files.
There are apps for streaming devices/mobile devices so you can stream from your plex server to any of those. If you're heading on a trip and don't want to (or can't) remote connect to it, you can download stuff to your device from your plex server (this may be a premium only feature, for which they sell lifetime licenses for which is absolutely worth it, especially during a sale).
If you take a bit of time to set everything up with a couple extra programs, getting new content is as easy as doing a search for a movie and clicking grab. For tv shows you can "subscribe" in a way and they will download new episodes after they air.
There's a ton of extra features, but thems the basics.
I heard about this site a while ago and forgot what it was and couldn't remember where I saw it, thanks!
Why do people always insist on blathering away and drawing attention to the websites they use?
Shut the fuck about it.
Did I reveal a "super-secret" website? There's a really obscure one named Pirate Bay too
A few people have found my post to be useful so go chase a parked car.

My guy. Why do movies from the 40s deserve copyright protection. Everyone whos culture was influenced by them is dead. You should get 10 years max before everything is public domain. Marvel could still make movies if all of the heroes were public domain, movies go in the discount bin after 10 years anyway.
[deleted]
Its hyperbolic sure. But the idea that The metro 2033 video games will become public domain in 2142 if the original creator happens to die at 73 years old. Its unthinkable, sure some will probably play it, if the technology still exists to play such antique media. We will never collectively own the culture that we love. Commodified by corporations. Its depressing.
What are you talking about? The site the parent comment linked to is a torrent site with recent movies.
Most people pirate latest movies not movies 40s or 10 years back
[deleted]
How many people are āpaying for streaming servicesā or āgoing to the moviesā to only watch old movies?
Being a content creator, I would much rather maintain ownership than it be public domain. It takes a lot of work to make something. I would like to earn rewards of that hard work all my life. The losses are mine, the profits should also be mine.
It's annoying that this opinion gets so many downvotes. Some people don't want to steal shit. They want to give money where they feel its due. There's nothing wrong with that.
Piracy =/= theft
[deleted]
Oh boohoo grow a pair
Lmao shut up nerd š
Better get a bigger server
Just did!
Can you add all the free Youtube "Cinedigm" movies to the list? Thanks.
You know what bothers me? that copyright companies and lawyers are assholes and greedy because I once made a site that contained embedded youtube content organized nicely like this site (but for something else, more specific) and they started to "build a case" against my site because they claimed I don't have the rights for those videos. but all the videos were from the official accounts free on youtube.
What happened next ? They requested you to take it down ?
Oh i thought I answered this. No they didn't because someone from the industry told me about it and I just abandoned the project
For cartoons your choices are Popeyes or Popeyes, or if youre feeling particularly adventurous you can watch Popeyes.
There sure are a lot of conspiracy theory documentaries in there. I don't know if that's on purpose or the people who made those documentaries just happen to really want to put them out there for free and some kind of bot picks them up.
Kind of shocking to see Zeitgeist: The Movie in the Best Rated on IMDB... It's basically an early version of QAnon.
Try r/folkflix for content source. They have a great repertoire of amateur and professional films of independent creators. Very nice interface, btw!
Whoa Iām saving this shit
the ole 'reddit hug o death'
I never though I would experience ! Everything just crashed. I just now went from a 5$ server to a 80$ to bear the load of this post.
You're doing some awesome work here. I was reminded of the fact that Metropolis exists and is public domain. Gonna be rewatching that tonight.
Thanks! Glad you found it useful
Super cool project. Just a heads up some movies are mislabeled. At least In the Mouth of Madness is. Pretty sure that movie isn't public domain and a completely different movie plays when you click it.
What are you using to host?
All those movies look mid
I'll save this for later. Because right now boyyyyyy is just server stressing.
This is what reddit is for
Awesome!
Haxan is on there! Fun movie!
Lot of Woo and disinformation on there.
No offense, but the Netflix interface is trash.
The upside is that this interface has nothing in common with Netflix's either. Unless we're talking about the concept of lists.
Is there a Roku app for this?
So cool thanks
Ahhh free movies and Hentai ads... They know what i want.
This canāt be the complete list. I donāt see tropic thunder anywhere and that would def be a front page YouTube movie selection
Saving this post
Like Netflix? No, it is not. I click a film and get a tiny box of a film that I have to manually maximize in my window.
[deleted]
Arenāt all of these movies public domain, have rights to be one these platforms, or uploaded by the owner?
Let us know if you find any instances of piracy.
From their site: "cinetimes.org does not host any of the videos featured on its site, it provides links to content hosted by The Internet Archive (archive.org), the Wikimedia Foundation (wikimedia.org), Youtube(YouTube.com), Vimeo(vimeo.com) and DailyMotion (dailymotion.com)"
Most of these movies probably have licensing that allows them to be on YouTube, etc

My brother in Christ, multi-media corporations already have billions upon billions of dollars. Let alone the fact these movies that are multiple decades old, relatively inaccessible unlesd you somehow still own a VHS, and would most likely be in a bargain bin somewhere for 50c. Way to lick the boot, I at least hope it tastes good.
Well he asked for it, you certainly did better lol.
Lmao thanks, I do my best. This dude is clearly a miserable bootlicking fuck. Safe to say this guy probably would snitch on someone swiping a bottle of baby formula from Walmart.
Howās the boot taste
[deleted]
The fact that you even mention karma at all tells me you care about it. Here's a downvote, by the way. Enjoy :D
It's just really interesting that it was pointed out how you were 100% wrong but you still can't just admit it and say "my bad." Pretty weird behavior
Not really commenting on the whole boot licking thing but more curious about a couple of things.
If you don't care, why make a point of telling people you don't? It comes off more defensive and like you care when you do vs if you just didn't say anything back. (Just letting you know.)
Do you still honestly believe this is piracy and illegal? If not why not just delete or edit the post to say it was incorrect. It would come off as much more admirable than telling people you don't care.
If you do still think it is piracy and illegal, do you have any evidence for that? I am sure the poster would like to know if they made a mistake or did something against the law. I am pretty sure it was not their intention.
[deleted]
That's fair, they are just internet points after all. Just thought I'd let you know how it came off.
The edit wasn't there at the time of commenting or I hadn't refreshed the page. Fair enough. That stuff happens though. I could see how one might not know that or know that they were just linking to these and not actually hosting them, without doing further digging.
Anyway, was just curious. Thank you for your time. Be well and take care.

Electric Boogaloo
Saved
As a developer, this is the type of idea i fucking love and wish i would've came up with. Great work dude
Pretty cool. Clicked on mouth of madness and it played something's else.
I see they have Invasion of the Saucer Men, featuring the aliens that Morbo in Futurama would be based on.
Is it legal? (Innocent question)
I assume it is since the site is not actually hosting the content.
This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing
This is a treasure. Thanks OP
Nice work, OP! I didn't realize how many good movies were on Youtube!
12 Angry Men and Rear Window are must-watches for anyone who hasn't seen them.
also watch 'they live', its so good, and the comments on archive.org for it are almost as entertaining as the movie. btw, no, tim is not okay.
https://archive.org/details/they-live-1988
Where is the comment section?
i guess theyre called reviews, my bad. also its really just like three of them that i though were funny down towards the bottom

your wish is my command, master
Eat shit, I pay for all my subs. It doesnāt change the fact if they googled that website above..soap is 1 page over.
Thatās how I found it a while back. If anyone really needs something to watch and youāre stir crazy, Iāll point you in the right direction.
oh nooo someone contact law enforcement
Streaming movies online for free is not illegal. Downloading them and distributing them as files is.
yes daddy fuck me raw
https://www.allconnect.com/blog/is-streaming-illegal
Hereās an upvote
My mom bought me 12 Angry Men for Christmas many, many years ago. (On VHS). What a great movie!
And Spaceballs.
The Last Star Fighter.
Oh thank you. I have been wanting to rewatch that for years.
And Death Proof
Heck yes, time to rewatch 12 Angry Men!
Don't forget Idiocracy.. the movie that is becoming reality faster and faster
That wasn't supposed to be a documentary
More of a hypothesis.
1984 wasn't supposed to be a how to guide either yet here we are.
1984 wasn't supposed to be a how to guide either yet here we are.
Reddits fascination with this film is nauseating.
Agreed. I feel like there's a certain irony in the fact that references to Idiocracy is on Reddit's list of things to mindlessly parrot.
Idk don't blame me, blame reality
12 angry men is perfect Kino
what does that mean
Kino means Cinema in German. It is used by self described kinophiles to highlight peak of cinema.
Movies < Film< Cinema < Kino
Kino der toten
my dude it's just "theater of the dead" in german lol
thanks!
also in poland
Can I use kunst similarly? Like, more high brow than fine art?
No, but if you write it as Kunst however, you can.
I looked it up https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/kino#Noun_2
