Looks like the ending panel to some spy comic in the 70s/80s.

I was just about to say, it reminds me of the ending of Jaws on the NES.

Jesus you beat that game?

I love the feels I get from this

Is this Hiroshi Nagai? Seems like his style

Nagai confirmed

Does anyone know if Hiroshi sells prints? I saw some online on Red Bubble and other sites but would like to support the artist if possible. Thank you

It looks like you shared an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

Well I’ve got some summertime wallpaper for my phone now!

reminds me of Sky King, rip🥺😭

Very eloquent indeed. 🥂

San Diego vibes

thank you. my phone has an excellent new background now

Reminds of the Puget Sound Flight School: Fly it like you Stole It

Wait, did they make a game out of the barefoot bandit?

While the world is tearing itself apart, one guy just wanted to a barrel roll. Long live SkyKing.

This is so nice, who the artist

Reminds me a bit of the ending of Jaws on the NES :)

Another Mimosa I think

San Diego

One of the best I've seen. Clean, simple - just great. Thank you for sharing

Getting some Snow Crash vibes big time

I love city lights depicted in this way, both the buildings and the avenues, just beautiful.

A follow-up to this comment: last night I dreamed I was standing on top of a building looking over the cityscape depicted here, and I was surprised to see that the lights in the buildings were presented exactly as they are here - in the dream I said aloud that I didn’t expect the lights to actually look like this, I thought they’d be artistic representation, but they were literally sequenced matrices of yellow panels of light instead of the internal glow of rooms.

This is so cool. However, the building on the left is going to have the highest electric bill in the city with all them lights on.

sick

How did you get that dithered gradient?

the artist is hiroshi nagai, im pretty sure this was painted on canvas

This image is very soothing 😌

I love the vibes this gives off.

Very beautiful!

This reminds me of what happened on September the 11th 2001
