Don't give dogs cuts like pork chop (that style of cut irregardless of meat) since they can easily splinter. In general pork bones are not good for dogs. Beef or lamb bones are generally the best and safe. Chicken rarely cause issues for a dog used to bones since they're soft, but a small dog or one not used to chewing bones shouldn't start with chicken.
Iāll still give him pork bones, but Iāll be more careful about what cut. I usually give raw bones so they donāt splinter as easily.

Some dogs are unhealthily fixated on food (some have traumas from previous owners starving them, some are just dumb) and if you live with it it doesn't take long to go from "aaaaawwwwwwwwww poor wittle doggy you want some food? here you go" to "fuck off you beggar, you just had lunch and you always puke when I give you Schnitzel. Don't act like you're hungry. There is no way."
It's incredibly unhealthy to give dogs human food because of all the salt and sugars are amplified in their small bodies. Giving or taunting your dog with human food is pretty much only doing harm.
Knowing all this, you should encourage good behavior by rewarding treats or whatever currency your dog loves when they leave the food alone. We don't give into a dog's desires because we know it would hurt them.
