The worst sin is the one unforgivable sin, which is commiting heresy against the Holy Spirit. Basically, leaving Christianity or calling it fake.

Pretty sure that’s not blasphemy. You can come back to Christ after becoming an atheist and atheists are very much encouraged to seek Him
That’s what the Bible says. A Pharisee calls him a faker, so he tells him blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (so technically him) is an unforgivable sin. Most churches conveniently ignore this to get more followers though, since despite their fear mongering about sinful atheism they need more members.
That is not just atheism. That is literally seeing an act of the holy spirit and denying it. Atheists today haven’t seen any miracles

Still, I don’t think it’s right, especially since conmen doing the same stuff as Jesus were rampant back in those days.
I highly doubt the disciples would have allowed themselves to be tortured and killed had Jesus been a “conman”. Especially since they were preaching long after his death
I’m not saying Jesus was a conman, I’m saying there were plenty of conmen in those times doing the same things. Even to this day. Kind of like how pharaoh didn’t believe moses’ staff trick because “turning” a staff into a snake was a common parlor trick in those times (in reality the snake acted stiff and then would coil up on the handler’s command).
