Wow, great links, thank you!
Thanks, bruh
Just be sure to have a adblocker
First on the list was Blood Boobs and Beast.
It's like... a Wish.com version of Netflix. It's filled with substandard and unknown contents.
^(EDIT: there, fixed that for ya.)
underrated is actually something good.
Yeah, quickly looked at what they have. Don't think any of it is underrated
I like a lot of the Wuxia movies like Brotherhood of Blades.
That Mitchel and Webb look is absolutely amazing.
Without looking at the thing, this tells me they have stellar content.
A 5-min well-crafted YouTube video is million times better than those "movies", lol.
Example?
well it’s definitely rated
[deleted]
I'm wondering if you don't know what underrated means. It means it has bad ratings, but is actually good. These all have bad ratings and are actually bad.
[deleted]
Your comment makes it sound like there is some good on there. When I quickly looked I didn't see anything worth while.
I didn't downvote you, but im guessing other people did because your comment doesn't make much sense.
Isnt everything crap on wish ?
It sure is. The perfect comparison
On this page there is a lot listed that's of the absolute highest quality (Green Wing, Mitchell and Webb, Black Books, ...).
Yes, none of them work, but that's another matter :)
Kenny vs Spenny is a great show if you want to see what it's like to descend into madness living with an absolute psychopath
Never heard of it but I'm wondering if it would be like living with my ex wife.
Your ex wife ever dose you with acid then convince you it's because of the squid you have on your head?
Well no, but she messed me up more than that.
Yeah, not all scars are visible.
Especially ones received by people who were supposed to be your greatest love/confidant/friend.
Some of their rep watches are real gems that can't be found on DHGate or AliExpress. Presage Snowflake homages that are beautiful.
Other than that, it's pretty much garbage.
Not really, I for a really good vibrator from there once, is was my fave until it died from overwork a few years later
I'm not sure I'd trust cheap plastic from Wish anywhere near my friendlier parts. Who knows what might be in it?
It was silicone and lasted longer than one I had bought for three times the price at a sex shop. And it's not like I would have sterislied it or anything before using 🤦♀️
Not sure I'd trust cheap silicone from Wish either. Some Chinese factories are infamous for disposing of hazardous materials by mixing it into new materials in minute quantities. I have a pen from China at home which is slightly radioactive. Not enough to be an immediate health issue, but enough to make it obvious that they're disposing of shit any way they can.
LOL! the wish rabbit wins again.
Nah the wand ;)
I bought some useful things on Wish.
There is Taskmaster, a pretty good british show where contestans have to do funny tasks, but for some reason when I try to play it, nothing happens - just like with the rest of the site, and taskmaster HAS full episodes on youtube already..
I’m an early adopter cord cutter…pc in the living room…Netflix streaming was all little known or old movies. But they were good and I was exposed to a lot of tv I would not see. Underbelly was a great Aussie crime show that was not legally distributed. Now I’m so overwhelmed by choice and I can’t pick out what is good and I feel like I waste so much time on crap.
Ah yes, I fondly remember the good old days when Netflix had mostly old movies, I discovered a lot of classic films back then. Nowadays I can’t ever decide on what to watch.
I don't understand why you say you are an early adopter cord cutter, or why you decided to share that you have your pc in the living room, but good for you?
If you just wanted to watch some show, why not download it and watch it offline?
You must be young. Why do you think they decided to stream? This was well before roku and gigabit.
I guess you don't have the abilitiy to plug in a USB with the movie/tv show to the TV...
Really?.. no! Not in 2007! Dang! There wasn’t an iPad either.
I hardly watched many of the Underbelly series, I live in Australia. Are you really not legally allowed to watch it anymore. Like why. Do you know ?
Apparently it may be lifted now but it was series 1 which ended in 2013. There was some sort of legal suit that prevented the series from being distributed. I didn’t really mean you could watch…you couldn’t get it legally. series 1 underbelly
Yup... that's a Wish.com quality.
So it's a Netflix version of Netflix.
So it's just Netflix then.
Mitchell and Webb? Sub-standard? That show is better than 95% of Netflix
So, I too enjoy that program and the first few listed... but the majority seems accurate
So basically, it’s like Netflix?
It has Johnny Mnemonic REMASTERED.
Last I looked, the movie never got a remaster, yet. Not by Shout Factory, not by Arrow, not by anyone.
It also looks like YIFY quality 1080p.
...And it's not available. lol
I'm in Canada. I'm not sure how well this works for different countries, considering how shafted we get for free legal movies.
Just now Netflix used to be back in the day. Filled with obscure, budget and rip-off movies with the odd gem somewhere in there.
There are more movies on YouTube, but the legality is a bit more questionable. Welcome To The Dollhouse is a favourite of mine and it's been up for years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDwULT6b4_A&t=1954s&ab_channel=SARAHMOONNOON
Interstella 5555!!!!!!! I mean... I've got the DVD, but I still love seeing the option!
That movie was too good, gotta get the dvd or bluray of that movie one day.
You mean... like this?
Awwww hell yeah! Damn im gonna find that movie online XD
First one I clicked on, Kung Fury, "This video is age-restricted and only available on YouTube."
Cool so it still meets OPs criteria.
You can watch it via Steam for free.
It's an amazing 30 minute short movie that is getting a sequel with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Fassbender, and David Hasselhoff.
Hasselhoff's music video for it also slaps.
Title: Exploitation Unveiled: How Technology Barons Exploit the Contributions of the Community
Introduction:
In the rapidly evolving landscape of technology, the contributions of engineers, scientists, and technologists play a pivotal role in driving innovation and progress [1]. However, concerns have emerged regarding the exploitation of these contributions by technology barons, leading to a wide range of ethical and moral dilemmas [2]. This article aims to shed light on the exploitation of community contributions by technology barons, exploring issues such as intellectual property rights, open-source exploitation, unfair compensation practices, and the erosion of collaborative spirit [3].
One of the fundamental ways in which technology barons exploit the contributions of the community is through the manipulation of intellectual property rights and patents [4]. While patents are designed to protect inventions and reward inventors, they are increasingly being used to stifle competition and monopolize the market [5]. Technology barons often strategically acquire patents and employ aggressive litigation strategies to suppress innovation and extract royalties from smaller players [6]. This exploitation not only discourages inventors but also hinders technological progress and limits the overall benefit to society [7].
Open-source software and collaborative platforms have revolutionized the way technology is developed and shared [8]. However, technology barons have been known to exploit the goodwill of the open-source community. By leveraging open-source projects, these entities often incorporate community-developed solutions into their proprietary products without adequately compensating or acknowledging the original creators [9]. This exploitation undermines the spirit of collaboration and discourages community involvement, ultimately harming the very ecosystem that fosters innovation [10].
The contributions of engineers, scientists, and technologists are often undervalued and inadequately compensated by technology barons [11]. Despite the pivotal role played by these professionals in driving technological advancements, they are frequently subjected to long working hours, unrealistic deadlines, and inadequate remuneration [12]. Additionally, the rise of gig economy models has further exacerbated this issue, as independent contractors and freelancers are often left without benefits, job security, or fair compensation for their expertise [13]. Such exploitative practices not only demoralize the community but also hinder the long-term sustainability of the technology industry [14].
Data has become the lifeblood of the digital age, and technology barons have amassed colossal amounts of user data through their platforms and services [15]. This data is often used to fuel targeted advertising, algorithmic optimizations, and predictive analytics, all of which generate significant profits [16]. However, the collection and utilization of user data are often done without adequate consent, transparency, or fair compensation to the individuals who generate this valuable resource [17]. The community's contributions in the form of personal data are exploited for financial gain, raising serious concerns about privacy, consent, and equitable distribution of benefits [18].
The tech industry has thrived on the collaborative spirit of engineers, scientists, and technologists working together to solve complex problems [19]. However, the actions of technology barons have eroded this spirit over time. Through aggressive acquisition strategies and anti-competitive practices, these entities create an environment that discourages collaboration and fosters a winner-takes-all mentality [20]. This not only stifles innovation but also prevents the community from collectively addressing the pressing challenges of our time, such as climate change, healthcare, and social equity [21].
Conclusion:
The exploitation of the community's contributions by technology barons poses significant ethical and moral challenges in the realm of technology and innovation [22]. To foster a more equitable and sustainable ecosystem, it is crucial for technology barons to recognize and rectify these exploitative practices [23]. This can be achieved through transparent intellectual property frameworks, fair compensation models, responsible data handling practices, and a renewed commitment to collaboration [24]. By addressing these issues, we can create a technology landscape that not only thrives on innovation but also upholds the values of fairness, inclusivity, and respect for the contributions of the community [25].

Is the sequel still happening? I feel like I hear about it forever ago and nothing since.
They went through legal trouble and had to sue investors for around 10 million but like the other dude just said, supposed to be released this year.
If I remember right, the first movie was crowd funded and got around 600k.
This one is supposed to be funded for about 33 million so it's going to so fkn good.
Yes. Last I heard 2022 🤞
got the soundtrack on vinyl!
How the hell did I miss that one. Damn.
It's a quick watch.
You will know if you are going to be into it within the first 2 minutes.
Wait, Schwarzenegger is in it???? As what??
The President lol
Hoffs were hassled.
It was once available on Netflix though
Yeah that's where I ended up showing some of my family the short a couple years later but Netflix requires a subscription.
Steam and YT should be free if nothing has changed.
Also if you guys haven't started using it on PC, FireOS, or Android, get YouTube Vanced. You can stay logged in, no ads, dark mode and other preferences, preferred quality, and listen to music/videos with YT in the background or your phone locked.
These settings stay so you don't have to reconfigure YT each time.
Kenny Vs Spenny is a Canadian treasure.
How does the content get picked, though? There's definitely more high-quality series and movies than that on YT.
It's hopefully still a work in progress. There are plenty of old movies that are in the public domain and old B movies that no-one cares about on YouTube.
All you need to know is that Father Ted is on here.
Thank you. I'm sold!
Wow. Born of Hope. It's a decent fan film prequel to LOTR.
This needs a shorts section and voting so the cream rises to the top of the menus.
He-Man: The New Adventures of He Man!! I was embarrassingly very into that show as a kid.
As a kid? I was 16.
I had no idea this even existed. Is it worth watching?
As a kid I loved the original Masters of the Universe to death so when I saw this New Adventures I was immediately disgusted and put off. But I do understand that THAT show was some people’s first He-Man exposure and have their own nostalgia linked to it too so enjoy your rewatch!
First thing I see: SCP Overlord.
Good website.
Now, if they just had an app for the Roku.
When i got my first Roku, they had YouTube and twitch apps that were really good. Now I just hook up my laptop to the TV if I want a big screen
I just cast YouTube from my phone to my Roku
Why? They still have youtube app
Taskmaster is must watch imo. Especially season 6
Kenny Vs Spenny has some spectacular episodes but keep in mind that some of it aged semi-poorly.
both great shows though, and worth checking out
Thank you!
Actually kinda cool for people who don’t know this stuff is on YouTube.
Pluto TV? Not Netflix UI but has old shows free.
I use Tubi as well. Good old classics there too. They’ve got a number of those old raunchy teen comedies on there like Joysticks.
There's a channel called DUST which has sci-fi shorts. Many are underwhelming, but there are some decent ones and a few which are great (also depends on your tastes).
It's a decent service and I'm not complaining about free movies and TV shows, just needs to be touched up a little more. because in categories i picked anime and got lot of live action shows.
This is awesome. Thank you.
99 Homes is on here and it is absolutely excellent. Highly recommend this movie.
It's got Taskmaster, so that adds a lot of gravitas.
Kenny vs Spenny is one of my favorite shows all time. So good
Squid episode, awesome.
I tried "shark tales" I got "the mighty Morphin power rangers"
As a Sentai fan, that is a vast improvement!
Why would anyone emulate Netflix terrible interface
Who the hell down votes you. The first time I've went on Netflix I shuddered when I saw the interface: so this is the best a multi-million company could came up with?
What's an example of a good one?
Tbh all modern uis are designed to try to get you to consume more, not make finding what you are looking for easy and quick. That's why the all force "content discovery algorythms" you can't turn off and need to scroll past each time
Fair enough. Thanks
When a great interface is...?
One that requires minim engagement to allow you to find what you are looking for, not deliberately obfuscating it in the name of new content discovery
Like which service? People complain for most stupid reasons, like, they show me new stuff, the horror.
Answer me this, why is the "continue watching" section of netflix that probably 90% of people are looking for in a different place every time you load netflix?
My answer is that is not. I always have it on my second row, after my list. On the other hand, that's a real first world problem.
Literally all UI design is a first world problem, what a silly complaint. You are wrong about it being on the second row btw, it's randomised between rows 2 to 5. Open netflix a few times and see.
I used to watch Shaka Zulu with my family ever week when it first released in South Africa. Excellent show.
Lol I love this
so the same 7 semi-terrible things on repeat in every section?
Just pirate and use plex lmfao
Plex sucks. I have entire series that don't show up in plex, but I can see them in emby.
Isn't emby sketch af tho. I mean plex works fine for me tho
Stop talking about plex
What's wrong with plex and who keeps bringing it up?
I would like to know, too. Such a short, seemingly innocent comment, and now I'm filled with questions!
Stop talking about Plex... because people talk about it too much? How much is too much Plex talk? And where have you been where people are talking this much about Plex?
Or, Stop talking about Plex... because it is your little secret that you don't want to get out? Why wouldn't you want it out? Is there something you think is illegal about Plex itself, and you think more attention means it'll get shut down? If not that, why does it need to be secret? Some weird gate-keeping thing?
I'm so invested in this now...
The more people talk about the platform that we use to watch pirated movies on the more likely it is to get shut down
I would hope you're joking. But in case you aren't, Plex is not illegal in any way. It is effectively just a media player. Are you concerned that VLC is going to be banned because people use it to watch pirated content?
How did you infer my comment as if I’m implying plex is illegal
the more likely it is to get shut down
It's kinda hard to shut down something that isn't breaking any laws
[deleted]
Oh I'm well aware of what Plex is - big fan. Nowhere NEAR 100TB tho lol. I have about 5TB in my library.
My questions are solely around why someone would say "stop talking about Plex".
Holy shit 5tb is a lot.
I have only like 300gb of movies and TV shows. I'm quite new so yea
I've been building my collection for... almost 20 years now. I really only get stuff I (or others in my family) actually want to watch. I don't see how you'd have time to watch 100TB+ of content like that other user.
And my 5TB is probably a lot of wasted space. When I first started my library, I was ripping my own DVD and Blu rays, which if I recall, were like 30GB uncompressed MKVs or something. I could shrink my storage usage significantly if I wanted to take the time to re-encode, etc.
Lol, I think we all know what Plex is in this comment change. That's why we find his comment so odd.
For real, did his Plex server bang his mom or something? Steal his girl?
Just plugging a website I've been using for the past few months:
Soap2day.ac
Has literally everything on it. If you use UBlock Origin ad blocker, has no ads.
Or just torrent
The main issue with watching movies on YouTube is that audio is limited to 128kbps 2-channel stereo.
Forgot YouTube is complete trash for a second. Then i looked at the content. Still trash.
Not true, YouTube similar to most social media including Facebook, it is at least partly what each user makes of it. Don't like the dregs? Don't support them, filter out the crap, filter to what you value.
YouTube Premium is the most valued streaming subscription I've ever had.
Some of the content created by independent individuals or small groups punches hugely above its weight.
Hang on, I'd not checked out this website before I'd commented earlier. I agree, whatever means by which this website 'chooses' content from YouTube, it needs major improving. There's way more gems than this website suggests, at least from the documentaries section.
Me: Mom can we get Netflix
Mom: No, we have Netflix at home
Netflix at home:
Free Movies streaming site with zero ads : https://youtu.be/vz7p3fG6ZPo
What makes you think these are "legally available?" All kinds of copyrighted content gets posted to YouTube that doesn't get caught by Content ID. That's what most of this looks like. Stolen from studios who can't afford massive armies of lawyers to constantly search for it to get it taken down.
Everything I knew of beforehand that is linked by this site is posted by the original show creators.
I just checked the Mitchell and Webb episodes and they definitely weren't.
Just checked them myself. Mitchell and Webb didn't upload the show but any advertising revenue from the videos apparently goes straight to BBC.
Strem.io is 10 times better
I can see the quality of the content is also "free"
Is there a reason Dogma isnt listed on there? That would at least be something good
One of the reasons I went exploring in the high seas. How is this movie not on Netflix or Amazon?
Something with the rights, you cant buy it anywhere so I doubt they could put it on a paid streaming service. Thats why its on youtube in its entirety.
I am amazed this thing has so much popularity !
I created the ‘same’ thing 5 years ago but only for the French.
Now I made it available for the English language:
There is even a deep learning algorithm that runs every Saturday and computes personal recommendations..
beside YouTube, movies can also be from the internet archive, dailymotion and vimeo

I clicked the link and the tab title says "402: PAYMENT REQUIRED" and the page itself says:

I ended up selling the site and I guess the buyer abandoned it. Bit of a bummer
Sad day! Thank you for the update 💖
The Mitchell and Webb Look and Taskmaster are gems on here!
I love Taskmaster!
Oh cool! I’ve had trouble finding The Mitchell and Webb Look for years.
"Are we the baddies?"
it's always on youtube, but you won't find every season on one channel.
It seems like they limit Taskmaster to 5 episodes a season even though that's not true from season 6. I've been using this youtube Playlist instead, https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ_so1Pgq6taUisEO55CYPHKP1MpdJUF0
They're releasing their own streaming service soon with all series/episodes for those who can't watch via YouTube
Are you in the UK? Outside of the UK I can see all episodes e.g. 8 episodes in season 4, etc.
I'm outside UK. I can see them all fine in the Playlist on YouTube I linked but on this lamplight.tv site I can't scroll past episode 5 for any season.
I somehow missed what you were referring to - I’d clicked through lamplight to the actual Taskmaster channel and was then seeing all vids from there. I hadn’t actually seen that your playlist is from the same source - had presumed it was a dodgy copy! No idea why lamplight stops scrolling after 5 episodes…

I LOVE LAMP!
As are Jeeves and Wooster!
