Yeah some times I like to imagine it's an actual medieval war and whenever two pieces are next to each other they basically do this.

Too funny
When you use the same character as the opponent in a fighting game that just keeps spamming the same move over and over
does en pessant
An en passant capture when both pawns are on different ranks? My, you’re bold.

My windshield wipers when it’s raining really heavy
What do you do when this actually happens tho
There’s not necessarily a need to do anything at all. At the most fundamental level: in chess, you must do whatever furthers your goals, whether you want to go for a win or simply to draw. It’s entirely possible that two opposing locked pawns can simply not be a factor when it comes to those goals.
I can only give really general advice, given that the mere concept of “plans in a chess position where enemy pawns oppose each other” is really general in the first place. Just… don’t blunder away your own pawn, I guess? Also look for ways to take your opponent’s pawn. More material is good. Yeah.
Unless you had something more specific in mind, I can’t really give too much advice.
I see thank you so much for that😁👍🏽
No problem
Use the tower piece and side swipe opponents pawn
