I haven’t watched the clone wars and am not very learned in the ways of the lore, but I’m so curious what fans of the clone wars thought about Cad Bane showing up, and what they think of the finale.
I was disappointed he didn’t have his rocket boots. They’d have made him a perfect counter to the manoeuvrability of Boba’s own armour, and I’d assumed that’s why they picked Cad Bane in the first place.
Well Bane is quite up there in age by this time in the series, so being acrobatic may not make too much sense. Then again, being a different species he certainly could have simply made him age slower.
Duros age the same as humans. Not that they couldn't change it if they wanted to.
I loved how old he seemed compared to clone wars. We don't know how long his species lives, but his lighter color, faded skin, and shambling movement really contrasted his former self and I thought that was really cool to see.
I loved it. Cad Bane was the adult my favorite new character introduced in Clone Wars. Dying to Boba Fett is a fitting ending for the character

If he was late 20s to early 30s during TCW as a young estimate, and had a life span similar to humans, he’d be pushing 60 by the time BoBF took place.
Actually, just checked, Wookiepedia puts him at 71. Would have never guessed he was that old. Damn. Though his birthdate, as far as I know, isn’t fully canon.

Film Boba hardly did anything at all though. There are some cool details like commanding Vader's respect, but we hardly see him do much at all in the films

Yeah, they were going to have a shootout, and they would both draw and fire at the same time. Bane would hit Fett in the helmet, knocking him down and giving it the signature dent, and Fett would hit Bane, killing him. I believe they've actually uploaded the early animation of the scene to youtube somewhere.

Read an article that said initially Season 7 was gonna have Boba Fett and Cad Bane have a standoff, with Boba Killing Cad and Cad's shot causing the dent in Boba Fett's helmet. Basically the armor saved Boba Fett.
He and Mando made an otherwise terrible show palatable. Kinda lame he got ended with a stick, but everything up until that point was exactly what I would've wanted in a live action cad bane. He wasn't done nearly as dirty as Boba was overall though, so silver linings and all that
I only watched a few episodes of Clone Wars and not the ones with Cad Bane but I still recognized him from the commercials I've seen so seeing him in this show was a surprise. It was more just me being impressed that they brought in another character from the cartoons though instead of a full blown freak out like other fans.
