Sounds great! But analytics collecting makes it an instant nope.

Gunna be a hard no there boss.
This definitely looks interesting. I usually just toss articles I want to read into a bookmark manager, but this seems more useful.
Looks exactly like what I was looking for. Can you provide a docker image?
Edit: Saw on HN you are working on that, nevermind me.
Edit 2: How to delete an article?
Edit 3: When I press "Archive", the article is gone and I cannot find it anymore.
Hi, I am not the dev so it would be great if you can ask on HN.
I just saw that it might be interested to people here so I posted here.
Not a selfhosting, but a very decent alternative to personal document management is Devon Think. One time payment without those “monthly fees”, and excellent privacy options. As much as i love self hosting and privacy, i use it for many years and can’t recommend enough
I've just had a quick look, seems it only supports macOS/iOS ?
That’s right. It does have only apple apps.
Install guide is available on INSTALL.md

Selfhosted extension wont work I guess.
If you can figure out how to parse PDF's and things with multiple columns to reflow then properly I would be really interested
Edit: lol. Wtf? Why are ppl downvoting this? This is an amazing piece of software with really great utility that I'd like to see become competitive with the other big players
Was interested until I saw that the web app collects analytics data and shared with third parties, including Google and Facebook.

The installation guide says there are some manual changes you have to make to make it work properly if you want it to run locally. I searched in the code for analytics and it seems that analytics is loaded in the pages if you were to host it yourself unless you manually removed it.
Indeed. Wondering what's the thinking process here for OP. I imagine for a service provided as-is on the official website, to either use functionalities like Facebook login or even earning money, I get it (not ideal but their choice). For self-hosting though ... instant no.
Agreed, really doesn't belong here. Very antithetical to self-hosting to have analytics anywhere near my software haha.
Maybe OP didn't bother to read the privacy policy
Either way that’s a pass from me. Shame, too
Project seems to be built as fast as possible. Take a look here. AFAIU, even if you run it locally, it still uses s3.
I know it's besides the point but would Pi-Hole filter the analytics?
