Meh. Lifelong procrastinator here. If I had a 10-page term paper due at 9am then you can bet that I started working on it 8 pm the night before. I wish I wasn't like this because it was pretty stressful sometimes. Looking back on it though, I'd say that some of us are just hard wired to screw around. I'm 54 and about to retire comfortably, so if it worked out fine for me then it can work out fine for you. Just be sure to match your career with your inclinations. A fast paced teamwork environment with frequent hard deadlines is not for us. I thrived in a career where I worked mostly alone on large projects with long deadlines. I might screw around for weeks and then spend the next couple of weeks working lots of OT to get it done. Being a procrastinator does kind of suck, but it doesn't doom you.

The problem with modern society is that the majority of people dont want to he rich or wealthy or even middle class. They just want to have a car have a house or rent a cheap place that never raises its rent from 1000 to 2500 or 800to 1500, etc etc. They want to live regular boring lives. Playing video games going to the bar with friends. Being able to take vacation at least 2 weeks a year minimum.
Modern society has brainwashed everyone to think that they can all be rich and live like a rockstar of they world hard enough. Mo ey is finite. And those that make it to the top lobby to create regulations that make it harder for those at the bottom. So every time someone males it to the top aka a corporation they lobby to make it very hard for competition to make it to the top.
I dont want to be rich i never really cared about money. I just want to play video games and work a dumb job and die.
But look at this damn society. You cant even survive on 2 jobs anymore. People who dont even want to be rich are working their ass off just to live like peasants.
If there is a god, a genie or any diety or super being that hears my prayers please cause the world civilization to collapse back to the stone age because i hate this shit
