Good thing it's not smoke, it's sweat evaporation because he's very hot and the air is super cold and dry. Lakes fog up when there's a large difference in temp between the water and air above; people do too.

Yeah lot of athletes who exercise in a hot building or just come out a sauna into cold temperatures end up steaming like this guy, and when I played high-school rugby I heard that on cold nights in particular cold climates during games the players can start steaming when the teams are grouped up pushing with all their might in the scrum never got to experience it myself to warm where I live.
Most likely that outside is so cold compared to his body temperature that he's making smoke. Same as when you exhale on a cold day, but to all of his body.

It's called evaporation. His body temperature is high enough that his body initiates sweating and his surface temperature is hot enough that it evaporates. The only reason we are able to see this evaporation is because it is cold, on a warm day you wouldn't be able to see it.
