You probably don't need to hear this from me, but if you can push through it gets even better. I personally really struggled with the concept of rolling with failures and not having a perfect runthrough. Also having a tiny bit of knowledge about revolutionary politics in Europe between WW1 and WW2 makes the game/universe that much more interesting.
