I really liked the Local58 video Weather Service. Same as this, but it hits a tiny bit harder. I recommend tons of analog horror series, theyāre wonderful. My personal favorites are: Local58, Mandela Catalogue, Gemini Home Entertainment. All on Youtube, all amazing

Edit: to clarify, a liminal space is a space that is only meant to be existed in temporarily, in other words a transitional place like a bus station, a hallway, or an airport terminal. It doesn't have to be strictly related to travel, but those are the clearest examples.

Something about this reminds me of those dreams/nightmares Iāve gotten where for some reason I am terrified of looking out of the window. Or that I canāt be seen through the window (something unknown and bad will happen), but I canāt close the curtains because I canāt get near the windows.
I always find sleeping near a chest high window on the first floor unnerving, as anything can easily break through your window and get to you. The picture feels so creepy, as the pitch blackness of the night is hiding anything that is looking straight at you through the window.

Flash games are so nostalgic, the entire Newgrounds website felt like being in this room
No, whatās it like? Anything that imagery like this invokes memories of is something Iām interested in exploring. For me, this image makes me think of the menu screen of FNAF 4 (I think itās 4, maybe 3).
They're point and click flash horror adventure games so you'll need to find something that rehosted it or just watch a YouTube video.
The first game is more of a haunted house thing going on but the second is where I'm pulling memory from for the game. Humanity is mostly gone and the world is blanketed by horrendous clouds that showcase the coming of flayed horrors.
The way this is laid out feels like a lot of the moments where you can see outside to the hellscape while you look around a normal looking but underlying decrepit home.

You got downvoted but as someone who lives in the PNW, that's the first thing I thought of. I think people don't realize how traumatic that smokepocalypse was for those of us who experienced it.
I almost lost my house. This is straight PTSD right here. But ya walk out when itās raining ashes and you have to evacuate with nothing more than your family and a car.
I'm glad you made it through okay. My home was never in danger but I had coworkers who lived at the edge of the evacuation zone who had to choose between working and waiting at home to be ready to evacuate their pets.
