I was a neopoints millionaire on my original account. I had painted pets specifically the colors I wanted, and I collected petpets.
It got banned.
I don't remember doing anything wrong. The last thing I remember is a random event where I found an expensive paintbrush. I sold it one of the usual ways. Got a lot of neopoints. Got banned.
Contested the ban multiple times and never got my account back.
STILL salty about it.
This happened with me as well, over nothing at all. And then they kept banning any new account I made using my real name. So I ended up having to go by a different name to be able to play again at all. It was really sad seeing as being a neopoints millionaire was some seriously hard work.

i 'member had 50 million+ neopoints, an insanely overtrained royal akara, 10k+ kadoaties fed and a bunch of retired weapons & stamps. i got banned because i actually cheated. the majority of what i had was earned legitimately butt after awhile i was so insanely addicted that i started using programs that would let me continue playing while i was asleep

Dude the same thing happened with me, and with a paintbrush.
I believe there was an April fool's joke they did where you'd randomly stumble on a paintbrush and then the very next screen you'd get it taken away. But it didn't work properly and it was possible to juke out the system and either store it or sell it.
To all of you who have shared similar experiences: I'm sorry! I lost my account probably 18 years ago, made another account soon after, became a neomillionare again, and it was still never the same. I might have even done better on my second account (won 2 poetry contests and a petpet spotlight, had laboratory maps) but it didn't get me over my first.
Of course I don't play anymore, and only think about it on rare occasions, but yeah, still salty.
RIP my Purple Zafara, White Cybunny, Skunk Lupe, and sadly I don't even remember my last pet anymore (laboratory maps will do that to ya...) But I want to say Shadow Gelert? RIP all your lost pets, items, neopoints, and tweenage years of hard work.

Nope! By the time I got banned, I was at least 14. And that account had parental permission, I remember having to specifically print a paper and have my dad sign it, and then I either had to mail it or fax it to neopets.
Yeah, I remember that paper, lol. I think I may have just lied. Or maybe I was old enough...
I wasn't smart enough to lie on the first account, but I did lie on my newer one so I didn't have to do the parental permission again.
I have gaiaonline accounts I still can't get into because the birthday settings got reset or something and they think I'm underage. I'm in my 30s š¤£ not that I really need them anymore, either. This far down the road, I kind of just want access to all my accounts so I can bestow my ancient hoarded wealth on a new generation of tweens/teens to enjoy.

You would have had to enable flash in the browser for that website. But now flash is done, and they have to convert the website. I had thought that was mostly done, but I haven't been on there since late last year...
