I need the deep lore and explanation of this video's existence

I believe he is saying "mime school" but pronounces it "meme" because he went to mime school in france and that's how they would pronounce it.

Edit: I googled it and he actually studied in Britain not France, but mime originated in France and is pronounced "meme" in French so I guess he probably considered that the correct pronunciation.

This is both completely unbelievable and absolutely plausible at the same time

Hence David Bowie.

Bowie indeed was a trained mime, having studied under big name in miming Lindsey Kemp, who I first discovered in the original Wicker Man as the landlord eponymous of "The Landlord's Daughter"

Then explain the time he says "meme companies"

Exactly, he's clearly talking about doge coin. Myth busted

I think I saw a comment on this video or a similar one saying that he's actually saying 'mime', referring to when he studied mime art in the 60s, but mispronouncing it for a laugh.

Reddit is one giant meme school

I saw the thumbnail and immediately knew what this was.

The shitposting meme channel of my Discord is called 'Meme-School' because of this video.

I’m in a David Bowie shitposting group and meme school is like the god of gods there.

going to need a link to that, friend

Weird there are no comments yet. So I’ll just open with this:

meme school

meme school

I remember seeing this on /mu/ just after he passed. Ahead of his time.

Which is where people go before working at meme companies

Now I know how people who hate being rickrolled feel. That was far worse.
