This is pretty darn charming, especially for its time.
It's obviously been edited recently, though; whenever music happens it's clear and modern stereo music rather than the scratchy 1969 mono audio track. I wonder what was there originally.

I wonder if it's a case where they removed the original music to avoid the folk looking for copyright violations.
That last line lol. “I got bad news for you: your father’s dead. But you’re safe… and so is the world.” cut to credits
Spoilers!!
The hand-written Daily Bugle sign on a piece of paper got me.
“Featuring Peter Parker”? Haha, was the that the actor’s name too?!?
I wondered the same thing! But Peter isn't in it, so I guess it was just a joke.
Honestly this isn’t terrible for a fan film. It’s fairly comparable to made for TV movies of the era. The only thing really takes you out of it is the stop motion action figure they use to show him crawling up the wall. They should’ve done the Adam West Batman trick and filmed him crawling on the floor at an angle.
They did do that angle trick in this film, when he was crawling on the rocks.
At 1:00 they cut between the two on the same wall, it's so bizarre
Well, as you can tell, I didn’t watch the whole thing. I wonder why they didn’t use that method throughout.
I had the same thought! “Surely this is more work!”

The way he pronounced attaché case was hilarious. Love that guy’s voice
Yes, I saw that comment too
Haha wow, /u/jackmic9879 appears to make quite a habit of copying their reddit comments from the YouTube comment sections.
Bot account, or unoriginal human?
Oh man I can't wait to see this guy in spider verse
The henchmen is wearing a mask and is immediately identified by name.
This has so much charm to it, I genuinely enjoyed this!
How awesome would it be if this version of Spider-Man was one of the alternate universe Spider characters in the next Into the Spider-Verse movie?
Spidey vacationing in California...
Well, why not?
What a diifference a year and an actual budget makes:

This was great.
Wow. It's "Green Goblin's Last Stand" (1992) meets "Rat Pfink a Boo Boo" (1966). 9 Curt Connors lizard thumbs up!
lol they used mego action figures for the stop motion
Given the technology at the time, this had a lot of effort put into it
That's brutal
I love that Spidey’s costume is red and black. Just like in Amazing Fantasy!
That swinging mannequin of Spider-Man lol. Had me dead every time.
This is my favorite Spider-Man I’ve ever seen.
Wait till you see Toei's 1977 Spider-Man series. Has the low budget vibes of this but in japanese and giant monsters/mechs.
I think what gets me in particularly about this.
“CUTNope. Sorry Frank, this dummy looks better swinging than you.”
They do the same things ha. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFYIRZoyavw
Which part was there a mannequin? It was all pretty seamless to me.
The action figure/doll

Sorry, I lack a sense of humor.
