Here's a question. Do I associate this song as being the perfect theme song for owls just because it's only ever been associated with owls (first time hearing it being ocarina of time when you meet the owl) or is it the perfect theme song for owls because it was written perfectly to be a good theme song for owls?
If I'd never heard it before today, and heard it with no reference, I feel pretty positive that if someone asked me what animal the song represented, I'd say owl
Interesting. Id honestly say it must be for some kind of tree frog or toad, its got that kinda whiny drawl to it that they make. As well, it also seems too spritely for an owl. Yaknow how owls tend to just sit there and stare for a while, analyzing, then move with a jolt. This music seems to uppity and quick to represent the same animal.
