Aristotle said that some people were only fit to be slaves. I do not contradict him. But I reject slavery because I see no men fit to be masters.

C.S. Lewis

Underrated quote

Masters of anyone but themselves.

Fucking based.

Democracy: the idea that we’re entitled to a portion of other people’s lives and therefore get to vote on what they’re allowed to do.

This also applies to monarchy right?

Yes. Every system that involves anyone controlling another persons rightful liberty is bad. Viluntaryism is the only moral and just system.

But is it effective and efficient at scale?

  1. That doesn’t matter. Stealing people’s property and killing people for not obeying what how YOU think they should live their life is immoral and evil and all those who seek to do it should be hung.
  2. Yes. It would literally just be people voluntarily trading with each other instead of putting the governments gun to people’s head to force them to do what you want. Not only is it doable, but it will produce a superior living quality to what government “provides” through theft and murder.

Is there any historical basis of it working like you describe?

Literally beginning America when we fought off government and had created the most free country to have ever existed and it BOOMED. and our system always suffers the most where government sticks it’s tentacles. Literally the entirety of human history has clearly shown us that you cannot tax and regulate people into prosperity and happiness. When people are left alone we have always had the greatest improvements.

And even if it doesn’t work, it is moral to allow people to fail for their own voluntary decisions. It is not moral to put a gun to people’s heads and force them to do what you want, even if what you want to threaten to kill them to make them do might benefit them.

Lmao.

Fucking roasted.

Not the one that you want to hold up as a hero...

You prefer Jack Ripper?

Why?

He ran a hippie commune that tried to kill people in the surrounding area.

He was a cult leader that hurt many families.

Fucking yikes

Democracy arms its worst enemies with the means to destroy it.

Uh… guys, this isn’t a libertarian, this is a cult leader. Him and his cult were accused of murder, arson, poisoning, etc. He’s a crook. Fuck this post.

nobody said he was a libertarian, OP said he was based because he has the tenacity to say people are retarded

anyways you say cult leader and I say spiritual advisor 🤣

Spiritual advisor whose “spiritual” cult was linked to murder, poisoning, fraud, etc.

So he can’t be correct about this particular thing?

Sure, but it’s about optics. I’m sure hitler said some based things once and a while too, but would you want that presented here representing our beliefs? No.
