Does anyone remember when that guy came along to Newgrounds with the Bitey of Brackenwood series? I think he was an animator for Disney and it just made every other animation look like it was done by taking screen caps of MS Paint. It was insanely good and professional for one person on Flash.

Adam Philips. IIRC he was Australian and taught animation, although I donā€™t think he worked at Disney.

Looked him up a few years ago and, while his site is still up, it doesnā€™t look like he was ever able to get any investors interested in a Brackenwood movie. Itā€™s a shame, because as you said, it was insanely well done. That scene in ā€œThe Yuyuā€ where Bitey runs around the entire freakin planet to hit the creatures from behind still gives me chills.

Tearing up, you watch the last flame thin out and extinguish, releasing a thin line of smoke that goes up into the starry sky and joins the atmosphere with all the rest of the CO2 to forever linger in the air above and watch over you.
