Eh it kinda depends. Id say its not too "weird" to be eat alone at a restaurant, especially if it is a more casual place. I work at a restaurant and we have people come in alone all the time. They are usually on their phones or reading or something similar. Sometimes single people dont wanna cook and want actual food too. It is a lot more common for lunch than dinner though.
Edit: saw another comment about taking home and thats true, but sometimes its nice to just sit down and not have to do anything, plus the food is hotter.
Move to a new city by yourself and it changes pretty quickly
I'm not trying to be a smrtass, but I find it odd to not want to be alone at a restaurant. Sushi bar places are the best. Sometimes you get to visit with them a bit.

I don’t think anyone was mad. Like I mentioned a lot of times it’s hard to fully understand a person’s position through just their writing. I (and I assume many others) took your original comment as being condescending towards anyone who went to a restaurant alone. Clearly that was not the case though so no fault on anyone’s part, just a misunderstanding. But I do hope whatever you are currently going through gets better!
I love going to restaurants solo. Have a nice hot meal at your own pace and can be engrossed with a book, reddit, homework, or even just people watch.
Take advantage of having friends and free time while you can pal.

Well maybe some people like the ambiance of a restaurant, their drinks, and their food to be more fresh than taking it home? I often do takeout but some restaurants are just better when you get your food fresh. Nothing wrong/ weird with going out to eat alone and using your phone.

I would agree. The biggest difference however is diction, this gif uses a structure that is very choppy and short. This lends well to a format without sound and allows for very rapid and in your face humor. Charlie however, uses such long and beautiful diction when he narrates these commercials, and it is truly gorgeous to listen and watch.

I have them and they are complete shit. The black plastic ends gouge into fingers where they end on your fingers. So after a few minutes of using them to say dig or pull weeds it starts to hurt real bad. Good concept, bad design.

Those look like theyd have the exact same problem applying force to the nail part would make the back of thrm dig into the tops of your fingers. The only way to make thee work and be comfortable is to have them either be so long you cant bend your knuckles, or be attached via hinges above your knuckles to an anchoring plate on the back of your hand Otherwise youre just transferring all that torque to the top of each finger which is going to hurt like a bitch
I think I see what you're saying. So in addition to the ideas you mentioned, maybe just extend the front of the claw so there's a hollow cavity in front of the tops of your fingers, then create a good fit for the first joint from the top of your finger. That way, you can still bend your knuckles, but the claw is supported less painfully.
I had them too. Terrible for gardening, but great for world domination. 😂
