A man of culture detected.
Do you get to the cloud district very often?
Oh, what am I saying? Of course you don't.
Came here just to say this, you beat me to it.
I’m glad you said this, me too!

it reminds me of the robot building in Kaliningrad (House Of The Soviets)
Omg I love that one it wasn't far from where I lived
what was it like in Kaliningrad?
Lovely. Idk dude I grew up there basically while my parents were going thru a divorce ( lived with grandparents) and it was really European. Also in Sochi. Loved the city. Would go to vyshtinets lake and the kurshskaya strait and the Baltic sea lots. My grandpa taught microbiology and marine biology in the kgtu. Had great memories of evenings spent with him. He got me into gaming by buying me a Sega genesis. I played lots with the other kids in the little playground attached to our building. If u wanna see it our address there used to be 33 улица талалихина. We had the room where the little tower is facing the gas station across the street. I remember in 1999-2003 it modernized so much, cheap internet, shopping centers, high rises. School was tough as hell.
Also lots of museums, Kant museum, the amber museum, the naval museum (one of a kind I hear), military parades complete with being allowed to climb all over military vehicles ( fun for a young lad ), the church had a real organ we would go listen to. I mean it was super duper fun.
Wow Kaliningrad has A LOT
Yeah I mean it's a city of 950,000 and it's cut off from the rest of russia. It's gotta be a bit self contained
Amazing! Thanks for telling me all this! Are you really good in Russian?
They made me fluent over there
Vot eto horosho (I'm not good at Cyrillic, kind of a tricky script if you ask me)

Rekt
It looks like if they invent hardcore cyborgs in there.
To reconquere the Soviet Union!
Watch out for Cyber-Stalin! His vibro-sickle kills the western scum.
Cyber-Stalin has already been deployed. He was to strong and broke out durring the fall of the Soviet Empire. Legend has it he is secretly amassing a new communist nation in the depths of Siberia.
Communism is a sin
To oppose Cyber-Stalin is a sin.
Quit Stalin', Invent Cyborgs!
If you go up to the CEO’s office on the top floor, there’s a named plasma rifle hidden behind the painting on the rear wall, which you can unlock using the terminal on the desk. It requires maxed out science to hack. If you don’t have it, you can also go down to the sub-basement and try getting the custodian’s keys off a unique Securitron named Scruffy.
Known for great scientific leaps such as Tetris.
Tetris is actually older than this building.
Home of the bek-to-bek tetris
Makes me think of portal for some reason. Aperture science
We do what we must
Looks like a building you'd find in Fallout.
Vault Tec H.Q-Better living, underground.

That every building in east europe and russia :)
whats going on in that roof?
Actually it has no special function at all. The construction consists of painted metal beams and glass.
Taken from here.
Dan you really believe it?
[removed]
Seriously, Dan.
Dan? Hello?
Paging Dan. Dan, please come to the comment section. Dan, please come to the comment section. click
I don't know how I could have dan such a typo
Two giant Tesla coils built to transport US fleet ships across the ocean.(in order to ACTUALLY do that you would need a magnetic current more powerful that the earth's magnetosphere)
I grew up in Moscow and this building is actually just the strangest thing. It looks so out of place.
Yes! I always thought that too. When I was a kid passing by, I’d ask my mom when they were going to finish that building because it looked like construction to me!
My grandpa used to be a professor here!
So Soviet
10/10 would explore in a Nuclear Wasteland environment.
This totally reminded me of the tech lab from Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Me too. This one? http://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Technology_center_(campaign_building)?file=Technology_Center.jpg
Exactly. EXACTLY.
By the structure and the color of the building, I imagine a mad Nikola Tesla working with robots which can produce lightnings.
Looks like a vex formation in destiny
First thing I thought was vex!
Someone has been binging destiny too lol
That building is imo gorgeous when the sun is shining on it. http://toddprincephotography.com/wp-content/uploads/Sunny-Moscow-Winter-Day-43.jpg
Looks like a portal to the upside down is in there
I love the way every major building in Russia looks like it could be used to research the next nuclear weapon. It would be quite cool to see a city built in that style.
Yup, looks Russian
This straight up looks like a Command & Conquer Tech Center.
No, that’s Hawkins National Laboratory
If you live nearby and hear sirens and see some scientists and soldiers running while shouting to their comrades "The blast doors won't hold for much longer!!" You better start driving/running away fast.
it looks like the abandoned steel factory by my dads college, only less rusty
Fallout 4?
Looks like something from last station
[deleted]
Just a decorative thing. Pure art.
Damm, Atomic Heart looks sick!
Looks like a loading screen from MW2.
Is this where they build their chemically enhanced athletes?
It literally looks like something out of Command and Conquer.
True
I’m pretty sure super mutants live there.
I thought the top was Tetris at first glance
Beautiful!
Once inside, you are trapped in a game until someone wins. They can range from simple farming simulations to sci fi shooters.
Note the oversized lightning rods on the roof. Useful for their reanimator experiments.
That is one Soviet-ass building. This must be where the Sleep Experiments took place.
What sciences?
Looks like some place you would find in a game like Doom
The plutonium and uranium is for research purposes only
Yes, this is exactly how I expected it to look like.
At least tetris was developed there
Brutalism!
Looks like a dwarven ruin
Their Trolling 101 must be amazing.
Why is modern architecture so terrible
It looks like it was built by the dwemer from skyrim
It looks like they're doing anything but science in there
Is everything in Russia cover in rust?
Not to offend, but no wonder you see so many videos online of Russian people doing crazy and dumb things... their education centers are so damn evil looking people avoid them.
There are dumb ppl anywhere in the world
True
Russia also has state-controlled news, which is a far more likely factor.
The Russian Academy of Sciences, this building is also known as the Golden Brain. It was build in moscow in 1989.
But looks straight out of 1981.
More like straight out of 1984
Straight outta Compton is a brotha that'll smotha ya motha
And make your sista think I love her
I didnt know why you were downvoted so I brought you up to a 0
<3
well said Orwell
This is where tetris was created (i think)
Created by the best evil scientist of the building, Cyber-Stalin.
can he beat Mecha-Hitler?
Maybe not alone, but if Robolenin and his droid hound MARX-48 help him, Hitler wouldn't have a chance.
I believe it was, yes.
University of Planet HQ, founded M.Y. 2200 by Provost Zacharov
Alpha Centauri?! I love you!
It's also where Tetris was invented!
The propaganda center?
