I work at a venue one the border of Washington and Oregon, it’s hilarious to hear what some artists will call it. In one show I heard 3 different places from different artists with the main act asking the crowd to clarify.
Yeah, its real fun to see what they say in rural ampitheaters that aren't particularly close to any one city, or when they are technically in a suburb.
What's also funny is when a band is playing in a suburb of a large city. Like a band playing in hillsboro and they address the crowd as hillsboro. Bruh just say Portland lmao
