Ive gone from a 4ish to a 7, and a little more work and I'll probably be at a 8. It's taken the last 2 years but it's been worth the effort.

No reason you can't do the same. Make the most of what you have by not selling yourself short!

For sure keep the beard

Lol thanks. I definitely plan to

All that time and no new glasses? Dude, you need a check up once a year.

I have gotten eye checkups every year. My numbers haven't changed at all. :3

I will get new glasses soon though! :)

I hear Warby Parker is pretty awesome for glasses.

Yeah I just got a new pair of warby parkers. Their is a glasses guide on /r/malefashionadvice which helped put me on the right track. Lucky your perscription hasn't changed.

Sweet :) thanks!

Reddit is truly an amazing place. You can yell at people, share stories, etc. But when you need help, these subreddits will always be there.

Beneath all the self-loathing Reddit is probably the best self-improvement resource I've ever found. I originally joined Reddit for those subs

That is a serious transformation, man. Looking sharp!

Thank you! :)

Seriously I didn't look that great to start so if I could pull it off so could any other redditor :)

You ought to post over at r/GetMotivated. You went from average guy to 'Hmm, He looks like he has it together. I wonder what's going on in his life.'

You've become your own meme: Professional life coaches hate him! 😃

hahahaha thanks. I'll post this over there, too :)

i'd say problem is often that people think there are leagues. just be cool and fun and polite and interested. don't stress. people don't like stress. i'm not rich nor good looking and i know by now. listen more, talk less. you'll be a magnet.

That's a lot of what /r/socialskills will teach you. And yes, there are no leagues, just people who are right for you, and people who aren't.

nice dude! maybe one day for me too.. but props man, you're looking good! no homo

What a great post! This should be a Reddit bot that automatically replies to self deprecating jokes about not being good enough.

Everyone can be good enough, you just have to put some effort into it.

There's one that's kinda like that, but it's triggered by :( and responds with cat pictures.

Not in Charleston. :( Just a play on words regarding my favorite candy bar.

Also: be successful in other aspects of life & it'll permeate to love life as well. The confidence I have when my career's going well is extremely noticeable I've been told - just remember to stay humble.

No time like the present. I'm gonna get digging at this stuff while I'm off work today.

The best thing about it is when you make thesse changes you gain more and more confidence. If you know you take care of yourself and look good and feel good because of it, that easily adds another point.

You lookin' good brah! Keep up the good work!

Good shit dude.

Definitely agree. Your progress is amazing.

Alternately, be a billionaire.

Came here for the pretty girl, staying here for the self improvement

They're conventionally attractive, but yeah. Look at the source of this entire thread.
