The OP has flaired this thread as a discussion on Vaccine Policy. This is not the place to offer ungrounded or low-quality speculations about vaccine efficacy at preventing serious COVID-19 illness or side effects, nor is it the place to speculate about nefarious coordination among individuals or groups via vaccinations. As the current evidence stands, vaccinations appear to provide broadly effective prevention of serious outcomes from COVID-19. We are more concerned about vaccine policies (e.g. mandates). Top level posts about those or about vaccines against COVID-19 should reflect new developments and/or serious, original empirical research. We will also remove comments shaming/blaming individuals for their personal health decisions, whatever those are.

This is HUGE!

The Health Minister of a major world power saying vaccines have harmful effects.

I was insulted and banned for saying it. Now it's out there.

I'm just glad we finally got to this point. There really was a long time where I was thinking this would never happen, that it would just all be completely memory holed. It still has a chance of going that way, but this just makes it that little bit harder to ignore.

Especially considering this is coming from Germany, and the amount of self policing they do on the global scale. You're totally right, this really is huge!

1 in 10000 is still pretty significant, especially when comparing to the side effects of other vaccines.

I agree, but people have conceded there's at least that much for a while now. Pro COVID people will scoff and say it's not that much or something. The point is just it's not a big new concession, at least for how the conversation usually goes in the US, I'm not sure how it is in Germany.

Germany is weird in that way. They went full Covid crazy, but at the same time they seem to have a pretty good system for counting vaccine injuries and some dissident voices in media. Like, it wouldn't totally surprise me if they went in the totally different direction and became true covid/vaccine skeptics because it's the scientific way or something.

I’m perma banned from several subs for saying that

[deleted]

I’m sorry to hear that. Where I live I just couldn’t go to the movies, restaurants, hotels, travel by plane, etc. but luckily my job wasn’t affected by this stupid hysteria

I laughed off getting banned for spreading facts, but the bans for just following wrong think subs made me realize there’s a serious problem with a segment of society.

Exactly! As soon as I started following this sub I got banned from the “major” ones. It was a sign I was thinking the right way

Some of us were banned in many subs for posting in skeptical subs.

He still said it‘s safe and effective. The disabilities are only a „small minority“

I was banned from a few places…no insult tho…what insult did you get?

Racial and homophobic insults from leftwing progressives who couldn't tolerate a triple minority being against lockdowns.

I usually just get “moron” Redditor’s can be a dick sometimes!

^Just fuck off and die already, bitch. ^ that was the most common message I got, especially when I said I had cancer and wasn't worried about corona.

That’s harsh even for Reddit. It’s a good job Reddit means nothing and is about as important than t.v. It’s not important at all and if it went off line tomorrow, it wouldn’t physically affect 1 person in the whole world. I for one am sorry anybody said that to you.

Thanks, appreciate it. I was banned from another sub recently after the male moderator mocked me for no longer being able to become pregnant due to cancer.

Reddit is full of people lacking social skills, basic intelligence, and life experience.

But many of them are so supportive of corona rules exactly for that reason. If they ever have to deal with really severe illness or other life crisis, hopefully they'll gain some perspective.

Some people just don’t understand what harm words can do. A few years back I called someone the c word. There point was a valid one..I was just being a dick. I am not a bad guy but that day on Reddit I was a total arse. I think about that message a lot and it changed me. Maybe some of the other people can change

sorry about that guy being an asshole

"Vaccines may cause permanent disabilities, here's why it's a good thing" - Every title about this.

"That's just proof they're working"

No, vaccines do not cause disabilities. Here's what the science says.

Cut to the clip of Fauci saying, "I am the science."

Atlantic reporter here, thanks for the inspiration.

Good for Karl Lauterbach. Now if the rest of the vax cabal would come out from behind their pharma curtain and admit their mistakes.

Fuck him. How many people did he murder by pushing mandatory shots on people to take a fucking train?

So we stated this fact and were banned from not only several subreddits, had subreddits banned and also was outcasted from society, where the fuck is our apology

Hey ma, look, I'm right yet again!

1 in 10,000 per dose of permanent heart damage. And they wanted for force every human being on earth to take it. Man made horrors beyond comprehension.

Dying is also a permanent disability but I guess he's not allowed to talk about that yet.

Wow, this is the same guy that made my life pretty hard in Germany last winter because I only had two shots. I couldn't go out to eat, or practically anything else, and got weird looks from servers every time my QR code came up yellow.

In all likelihood, you'll begin to see more German politicians slowly, bit by bit, stand up to the narratives pushed by the rest of Western (especially American) oligarchy, as they begin to realise their country has become the sacrificial lamb for attempting to maintain American hegemony.

These German politicians are just as culpable, and they need to be punished for endangering the people they’re supposed to represent.

Absolutely, you can't just throw your country under the bus and sell it out in every conceivable way and then just go "sorry, guess I was wrong"

I hope they do, about that and a few other things.

What did yellow mean?

It meant that I had had 2 shots, but no booster, and therefore was no allowed in any public indoor spaces without a rapid test.

Wow, that really sucks. Wtf is wrong with people who think that medical apartheid is acceptable.

Edit: Hilarious that I get downvoted by some butthurt apartheid supporter! Cope and seethe, bigot! 🤣

“I’ve always been aware of the numbers and they’ve remained relatively stable … one in 10,000 [are injured],” Lauterbach said. “Some say that it’s a lot, and some say it’s not so many.”

...

“What’s happened to these people is absolutely dismaying, and every single case is one too many,” Lauterbach responded. “I honestly feel very sorry for these people. There are severe disabilities, and some of them will be permanent.”

He knowingly allowed people to be permanently injured. The number I last read was closer to 1 in 5,000 but let's go with his number.

https://impfdashboard.de/en/

By the end of calender week 10 on 12. March 2023, 224.0 M vaccine doses were delivered to vaccination centres, mobile vaccination teams, doctors’ surgeries, company doctors and pharmacies. 85.8 % of these doses were administered by 16. March 2023.

That would mean at least 22,400 people in Germany were injured.

With 12.7 billion doses given world wide, that is 12.7 million people injured.

The German government committing crimes against humanity?!?

I'm so shocked. How could we have ever seen this coming?!

Stop with the ridiculous nazi comparison. I had to prove I was vaccinated to enter the US this week and again lots of masking. And in the US still companies require vaccination even that wasn't legal in Germany.

Germany isn't worse, and is better, than a lot of countries

He has done more than Fauci and company by admitting this.

The German response to COVID was absolutely nazi-level discrimination and dehumanization.

Yes, some states in the US implemented similar insanity (Michigan, Illinois, California, New Jersey and New York were the worst offenders), and the US still has that ridiculous vaccination entry requirement, and some cities are still doing masks, but the entire country of Germany took it to the extreme from the start and didn't admit any wrongdoing until now, like 3 years later. At this point, a large proportion of the US population is outraged at the mandates and is demanding justice.

"Permanent disability" is an interesting way to describe being dead. Just sayin'

Yu vill get ze permanent disabilities. And yu vill be happy.

Duh. I will never understand the American vaccine psychos who said it's IMPOSSIBLE to have any negative effects and it's totally safe for everyone, while every fucking commercial on TV is for some pharmaceutical drug with a long ass list of side effects and restrictions on who should take it.

Typical American response: "why does that matter? We are not in Germany". Months ago, someone actually replied that way after showing them information from other countries.

I'm American and it sure as hell matters to me. I'm angry at any and every country that mandated the closhots.

Anyone got another source? I can’t seem to get this to load.

I'm afraid it's too little, too late. Pfizer and co ensured, from the beginning, immunity (no pun intended) from from any long-term consequences as a result of their faulty vaccines and their profit margin has soared. They're practically laughing all the way to the bank.

Are there any figures for children? They were least likely to benefit from a vaccine. If they were also exposed to risk of injury, someone should go to jail.

Too late, Lauterbach. Now shoulder the blame for forcing your fellow people to sacrifice their well beings through your manipulative policies. That was your fault.
