Okay Filipino here in the mainland, (Calabarzon region, Luzon Island, Phils.).. yes there was an isolated event in the southern Philippines the fall of Marawi in 2017 and it was really heartbreaking for every Filipino. It was more of an internal strife within the various folks there and the subsequent invasion of foreign 'ISIS' sympathizers are not really 'welcomed' there.
This is just really frustrating and insulting for some random vlogger to announce to the whole world that Philippines is a hotspot for violence.
