Play an indie game. Ultrakill, deadcells, darkest dungeon, hollow knight. Play a single player game. Play a game that wasn't made for the biggest audience possible. Play a game where it isn't specifically designed to suck a fuck ton of cash out of your wallet. Play a game that doesnt forgo fun for profit. You can fix this, just stop playing AAA shit.
+1 on the single player thing, I dropped 99% of the multiplayer games I had installed after I played Yakuza 0, that game fucking hooked me in to the entire Yakuza series and I'm so glad it did, I was so burnt out on everything, then Yakuza's goofy ass substories with a high-tension crime drama main story completely drew me in. Also monster hunter, I know that it's technically a multiplayer game but if you play it solo it's still really fucking fun, I played through all of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and I've done everything in MHRise: sunbreak (so far), seriously if you're burnt out, drop COD, drop Battlefield, drop Fortnite, and play a lesser-known series like these two.
also they're right ULTRAKILL and Hollow knight slap, haven't played deadcells (forgot it existed lol) or darkest dungeon (card games aren't my jam) though.
darkest dungeon ain't a card game your thinking about slay the spire. DD is the rougelike rpg where your dudes can get mental illnesses. highly recommend if your ok with making difficult decisions and great failure if you make a mistake
Yep you're right. I mix those two up so much in my head. But either way I get too invested in games to be cool with losing progress or a character I like, so yeah, also not my jam.
