For what it's worth, I don't think Rowling deserves to be snubbed. She clearly made a quality product if the people that hate her are still willing to build their entire personality around it, but you are right that these grown ass adults ought to move on to something else.
meh... there is a butt load of better fantasy series out there that don't get a fraction of the amount of attention her stuff gets. Her stuff is generic.

It’s the most Christian series I’ve ever seen. Its so funny watching the right hate it back when it was coming out.. I never read it because I’m not into that and I was a sophomore or something when the first book came out.. but I watched the movies and I was like… uh this is like Jesus and shit right? When she later said that is why I think they’re so anti her. She’s promoting Christianity and Jesus with her books.
